Weed Control Services for Highways, Residential Roads, Town Centres and the Thames Pathway 2015 and 2016 - The Royal Borough of Greenwich (‘RBG’) is tendering a contract to provide a service for the spraying of appropriate weed control agents on our highways, residential roads, town centres, thames pathway, laneways, footways, estates, medians and other areas that the royal borough deem necessary. The Council is seeking expressions of interest from appropriately qualified organisations. We are seeking a company which has the resources and is competent and able to achieve and maintain a high quality service standard for the period of this contract. It is important for the Royal Borough of Greenwich to maintain the high quality of the environment throughout the royal borough. Cleanliness of our highways and estates is imperative to maintain high standards we seek for those living, working, visiting and travelling through the royal borough, including the removal of all weeds from those specific areas. The Contract will be for two years. The Contract will require applying a weed control chemical on four separate occasions throughout the growing season of each year. Truro Pontoons - Cornwall Council requires the provision of 6 pontoons that are compatible with the connections on our existing pontoons in the Truro area during 2015. We require 6 pontoons approx. 11.5 metres length by approx. 2.5 metres wide. Each must have galvanised steel frames and floats to allow a 500 cm freeboard with additional floatation at each end to support mooring chains. Decking must be sustainably sourced and FSC accredited, preferably hard wood. The pontoons must be able to connect to our existing pontoon system - see Request for Quotation document for more details. UK SBS FM150047 HVAC Replacement CEH Lancaster - The final date and time for the submission of bids is Wednesday 1st July 2015 at 11:00 am Brief description of the site: CEH Lancaster is located within the Lancaster University Campus. All the adjacent buildings are University buildings including Labs, offices, library and halls of residence. Access to the site is through the main University entrance off the A6 approximately 2 miles south of Lancaster City centre. The main building where the works are planned are held as an operational asset and occupied by CEH as owner of the leasehold interests. The building was purpose built and completed in 2004. It comprises of a three storey office and laboratory block adjacent to a central shared glazed atrium and a refurbished block of a pre-existing university building for the purposes of CEH. Each floor is divided by a central corridor with cellular offices, labs and specialist areas off either side. The building has a flat roof and accommodates fume cupboard extracts, HVAC and associated service ducting. There is no designated plant room within the building. Outline of the works: This project is to replace Condensing Units to 4 AHU’s and replacement of existing roof mounted condensers and VRV systems in accordance with schedule of works. Scope: The Contractor is to undertake the following works: • D-gassing & stripping out of redundant equipment. • Positioning of new Equipment. • Crane Hire. • Refrigerant pipe work and fittings where existing pipework cannot be utilised. • Interconnecting wiring. • Commissioning on completion. • Any Building work and making good. • Mains electrical wiring including final connections to all items of plant. • BMS Controls & Control wiring. • Working outside normal hours. All works are to be completed within standard working hours as agreed with the site. Pricing Bidders are requested to provide pricing for their best replacement option based on the specification supplied. Whilst we are looking to ensure that any replacement is able to function to the same standards as we have currently we are also looking for an option that would include energy efficiency and environmental standards.
