Bingley Music Live - Generators and Electrical Installation - <u>Background</u> The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, 'The Council' is looking to source a single supplier for the provision of Generators and Electrical Installation for Bingley Music Live, an annual indie/rock/pop/alternative 3-day music festival, which is professionally organised and managed by The Council. Traditionally held on the weekend after the August Bank Holiday, the festival will be held in 2015 on the 4th, 5th and 6th September. The festival has the potential to attract 45,000 people, attending the festival over the weekend and it is intended that by presenting some of the best contemporary acts from the current music scene the event will sufficiently develop and grow in popularity and reputation. The venue is the idyllic setting of Myrtle Park situated in the rural town of Bingley, near Bradford. Myrtle Park has an occupant capacity of 15,500 which can be achieved given the opportunity to present big named artists. <u>Contract period</u> The Council requires a contract for the music event - Bingley Music Live for 2015. Bingley Music Live will take place in 2015 on the 4 th, 5 th and 6th September. Including the additional build up and take down period, the total hire term may be up to 11 days. There may be the option for 2 x 12 month extensions for 2016 and then 2017, subject to satisfactory performance, budget constraints and there being a requirement for the service.
