The provision of a Specialist Toy Loan Service and Associated Activities for Families of Children with Disabilities and Additional Needs - Hartlepool Borough Council would like to invite tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced organisations with the capacity to deliver a specialist toy loan service for families of children with disabilities and additional needs living in the Hartlepool area. This service will contribute to the 'Breaks for Carers of Disabled Children' Regulations (2011) and The 'Local Offer of Services' as detailed in Chapter 4 of the 'Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice 0 - 25 Years' (Statutory Guidance). The service will also contribute to the outcomes specified in the 2008 'Children and Young Persons Act' (s25), which details the statutory duty of local authorities to assist individuals who care for disabled children to continue to do so as effectively as possible

Gift Shop Suppliers for STEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway and Lydiard House and Park, Swindon - Swindon Borough Council is seeking potential suppliers to propose products and services they consider would be appropriate for re-sale at STEAM Museum and Lydiard Park within their retail shops and on-line facilities on either a re-sale basis or commission basis. E.g. Items could be purchased from the supplier by STEAM or Lydiard for re-sale in the shop or products could be promoted in the shops (and on the website) for direct sale by the supplier with a commission being paid to STEAM or Lydiard.
