Digital Slide Scanner - The University of Southampton requires a digital slide scanning system for use by its Faculty of Medicine to automatically scan microscope slides and store the data to a server. The system is for a multiuser facility serving a wide range of disciplines so it must be flexible, upgradeable easy to maintain and intuitive to learn. Under no circumstances whatsoever will the University of Southampton be liable for or pay any expenses or costs which may be incurred (whether directly or indirectly) by the tenderer in the preparation or submission of their tender proposal. The University of Southampton is not bound to accept the lowest offer or any tender in full or in part. The value range detailed in 11.2.1 allow for the potential of an extension to the contract past the initial contract period. Due to the nature of the requirements of this project, it is deemed not suitable for division into lots.
