GB-Chelmsford: Cyclical and Reactive Maintenance of Air Conditioning and Ventilation Systems - Chelmsford City Council wishes to appoint a single contractor for a three year term, plus a possible two further one year extensions, to undertake planned and regular servicing to air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems at Council buildings throughout the Chelmsford area. The works will comprise the following: 1) The annual major servicing of air-conditioning equipment at Chelmsford City Council properties at the commencement of the spring season. 2) The annual inspection of both internal and external air-conditioning equipment and related plant (to be undertaken at the same time as the relevant major service visit and the preparation of an annual condition survey report on all internal and external air-conditioning equipment and related plant. 3) The annual minor servicing of air-conditioning equipment at the commencement of the autumn season. 4) The twice-yearly inspection and servicing of the Calorex heat recovery and dehumidification system at the Chelmsford leisure centre at South Woodham Ferrers. 5) The twice-yearly inspection and servicing of the Calorex dehumidifier at the Chelmsford Bancroft Road store at South Woodham Ferrers. 6) The annual inspection, servicing and maintenance of ventilation equipment, to be undertaken at the same time as the annual major servicing of air-conditioning equipment. This contractor will also be responsible for responding to any reactive work concerning any air conditioning or mechanical ventilation systems as necessary. Contractors must be able to evidence membership of REFCOM and NICEIC. Estimated contract value £13,000 per year Contract term 1st June 2015 to 31st May 2018 (or 2020 with extensions). UK SBS FM150047 HVAC Replacement CEH Lancaster - The final date and time for the submission of bids is Wednesday 1st July 2015 at 11:00 am Brief description of the site: CEH Lancaster is located within the Lancaster University Campus. All the adjacent buildings are University buildings including Labs, offices, library and halls of residence. Access to the site is through the main University entrance off the A6 approximately 2 miles south of Lancaster City centre. The main building where the works are planned are held as an operational asset and occupied by CEH as owner of the leasehold interests. The building was purpose built and completed in 2004. It comprises of a three storey office and laboratory block adjacent to a central shared glazed atrium and a refurbished block of a pre-existing university building for the purposes of CEH. Each floor is divided by a central corridor with cellular offices, labs and specialist areas off either side. The building has a flat roof and accommodates fume cupboard extracts, HVAC and associated service ducting. There is no designated plant room within the building. Outline of the works: This project is to replace Condensing Units to 4 AHU’s and replacement of existing roof mounted condensers and VRV systems in accordance with schedule of works. Scope: The Contractor is to undertake the following works: • D-gassing & stripping out of redundant equipment. • Positioning of new Equipment. • Crane Hire. • Refrigerant pipe work and fittings where existing pipework cannot be utilised. • Interconnecting wiring. • Commissioning on completion. • Any Building work and making good. • Mains electrical wiring including final connections to all items of plant. • BMS Controls & Control wiring. • Working outside normal hours. All works are to be completed within standard working hours as agreed with the site. Pricing Bidders are requested to provide pricing for their best replacement option based on the specification supplied. Whilst we are looking to ensure that any replacement is able to function to the same standards as we have currently we are also looking for an option that would include energy efficiency and environmental standards.
