The contractor must provide suitably trained workforce and experience/knowledge of works required to be undertaken. The contractor will be responsible for providing their own power, water and welfare to undertake this work. A Public/Product liabiltity insurance of £5 million and Employers Liability Insurance of £10 million must be provided. GB-Uttoxeter: Pennycroft Lane Remediation Works - East Staffordshire Borough Council requires land at Pennycroft Lane, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire to be remediated. The site is located approximately 500m to the north of Uttoxeter town centre. The National Grid Reference (NGR) for the approximate centre of the site is SK 091 340. The contract requires the whole site to be remediated to the standard adequate for a residential development, where a developer can then take ownership of the site which will only require the installation of gas protection measures and the provision of a clean capping layer. The Council requires the site to be remediated in phases as remedial works cannot commence in the Area B section of the site until the businesses have been vacated.
