DaDA Servery, Reception & Back of House including Equipment - The DaDa building refers to a new 10 storey flagship building to house the School of Design and Digital Arts, located at 42 Shakespeare Street, at Nottingham Trent University's City Campus. The Design and Digital Arts Building (DaDA) is one of the School's foundations for their vision to become a leading institution for the digital arts. As one of the first dedicated centres for the creative industries, it will be a place that attracts talented critical thinkers, designers, storytellers, performers and technical experts from around the world to work with industry and our national and international partners on collaborations that blend digital, technological, business and creative practices. With regard to the design, supply and installation of the servery, reception and back of house kitchen and equipment, we have included a design by Garners and Schedule of ***** (Appendix A) and visuals of the area by the building architects; CPMG. In Appendix B there are images of other servery/reception areas at Nottingham Trent University. The key design requirement would be to develop this design. The Garners design also schedules out the white goods and equipment (Appendix C), where models have been updated, please allow for the current models. The Garners scheme was designed in conjunction with NTU's Head of Catering.

Handrails to A19 steps - The HLF South Cliff Gardens Project has installed new handrails to certain main routes and some (but not all) steps in the gardens. In February 2023, the Leader of the former Scarborough Borough Council requested the installation of handrails to the A19 steps which were not considered to be on a main route. An estimate of £33k was provided by officers and on 8 March 2023 the Executive Management Team approved the installation of the handrails and the direct appointment of McCoy Engineering (Hull) Ltd. A budget code was provided by SBC Finance at the request of the Chief Executive.
