TEC Partnership - Refurbishment of the Hospitality Block - This initiative aims to redevelop the Hospitality school of the Grimsby Institute, enhancing both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Key components of this initiative include optimizing the layout of the staff room to provide a more spacious and aesthetically pleasing workspace, whilst simultaneously revitalizing the Open Access area to create more inviting and dynamic atmosphere conducive to student engagement and collaboration. Furthermore, upgrades to the food stores are planned, including new racking and cold stores to ensure efficient storage solutions to meet growing demands. A hallmark of this redevelopment project is the creation of seafood school, meticulously tailored to meet the highest standards and specifications of a bespoke seafood education facility. Moreover, the restaurant's transformation, featuring a bar extension and revamped interior, aims to enhance the dining experience. In addition to these focal points, ancillary spaces, such as changing rooms and corridors, will undergo a comprehensive upgrade, wherein, the corridors would incorporate hospitality-themed designs and the changing rooms would have new locker spaces along with a paint touch up and upgraded amenities. This holistic approach underlines the Institute's commitment to creating a cutting-edge facility that inspires excellence in hospitality education and practice. This will be done by following the Outline scope above & Specification Document. TEC Partnership has named a number or products on the drawings/specifications based upon a technical assessment and/or previous use, however the contractor is permitted to offer an alternative if it fully matches the specified technical performance of the named product. If proposing an alternative, an example and full technical specification will need to be provided with your submission and will be subject to approval of the Group Director of Estates.
