ARFQ for the Provision of Library Courier Services - Halton Borough Council is looking for a Supplier to provide a Courier Service for Halton Libraries to transport skips (max. weight per skip - 10kg) of book stock between the 4 library service points on a weekly basis. There is also requirement for a monthly delivery of Bookstart packs to play/health centres within the Borough. There is the option to request additional deliveries/collections as and when required. The weekly courier service would run for 50 weeks each year and there are 11 Bookstart deliveries each year (no delivery in December).

BWH-15-0003 Provision of Courier Services for Birmingham Women's Hospital - Birmingham Women's NHS Foundation Trust is a leading pro­vider of health care services in the West Midlands. Located in Edgbaston, South Birmingham the Trust provides a range of services to around 50,000 women a year within the local catchment area and throughout the West Midlands and beyond. The key services provided include Maternity, Gynaecology, Fertility medicine, Neonatal Care (Level 3) and Genetics. The Trust is one of only two specialist Women's Hospitals in the United Kingdom delivering 8000+ births on a single site. The Maternity services provided include the following: Perinatal Centre, Regional Fetal Medicine Centre and a co-located midwifery led birth centre. The hospital also houses the Regional Genetics Service and the Regional Antenatal Screening laboratory, and both are the largest of their kind in the country. The Trust is looking to procure a courier service to provide support to its various clinical departments. Currently there is an in-house distribution service which operates a round robin sample collection service in the mornings, and an internal post service. However outside of these services, the Trust has a requirement for the collection and transportation of samples and general packages to fixed and variable addresses throughout the UK on a same day delivery basis. The Trust is seeking to procure a courier service against Lot 4 - Delivery of Dangerous/Hazardous Goods and Lot 1 Same Day of Crown Commercial Services (CCS) framework RM1006 - Courier Services.

Strategic Sourcing Plan for Postal & Courier Services - The British Red Cross Society (Red Cross) is a humanitarian organisation that refuses to ignore people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. This Prior Information Notice is to obtain market views on Postal & Courier Services and gather information to enable the Red Cross to develop a Strategic Sourcing Plan to demonstrate their future approach to Postal & Courier Services. Interested parties are advised to note that this will be a nationwide exploration which covers the following geographic areas: UK, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man. Additionally, please note that we have provided a market research Pro Forma that we advise all interested parties to complete in full. This Pro Forma shall be used a mechanism for Red Cross to increase its knowledge of the potential supply market, develop its strategic procurement plan and assist the Red Cross in their future approach to postal services.
