EHC 0424 Provision of Lead Consultant, Design co ordination and Project Management for Hertford Castle transformation - East Herts council is seeking the provision of lead consultant and project manager services. 'Hertford Castle Transformation' is a National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) project which will transform Hertford Castle, developing it as a hub for activities and for the town council to engage with the community, increasing its value to the public, and connecting people with cultural and natural heritage. This project has been awarded funding from the NLHF for its Development Stage to refine the project and develop specifications for works which will be undertaken during the Delivery Stage. At the end of the Development Stage an application for funding for the Delivery Stage will be submitted to the NLHF. The appointed Consultant will take responsibility for co-ordination of all consultants and sub-consultants delivery professional services and project outputs under direction of the project partners. The scope is split into two work packages. Work Package 1 will involve the co-ordination of specialist surveys, development of targeted plans, and securing of consents. Work Package 2 will involve project management, reporting to key stakeholders, and securing funding required for the next stage of the project. Asset Based Community Development Study - To undertake an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) Study that will result in a strong evidence base that will inform activities and investment required to deliver against the Council's Community Plan, Health and Wellbeing Strategy, Housing Strategy and Economic Growth Strategy. The study will focus on a number of key areas within the Newark and Sherwood Local Authority District, The study will provide evidence to support future funding bids / applications to assist with the levelling up agenda and substantial information to develop a community engagement and regeneration plan and supports the creation of vibrant and self-sufficient local communities where residents look out for each other and actively contribute to their local area. Adopting the ABCD approach allows the council to develop a sustainable model for community development focused on the strengths and potential within a community. Mansfield District Council Sustainability Appraisal / Environmental Outcomes Report of the Local Plan - Nottinghamshire County Council (the Council) is seeking tenders, on behalf of Mansfield District Council (MDC), MDC is commencing the next Mansfield District Local Plan review as required by statutory legislation. In order to provide a suitable basis for progressing the plan, the District Council is seeking tender quotations from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to undertake a Sustainability Appraisal (SA) incorporating Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) / Environmental Outcomes Report (EOR). The SA / EOR is required by legislation, the National Planning Policy Framework and Planning Practice Guidance and to meet the legal tests of Local Plan Examination. These requirements ensure the Local Plan is a sustainable plan. MDC is located in the north western part of the County of Nottinghamshire. It covers an area of some 30 square miles (77 Square kilometres). Mansfield is the main town within the district, but other settlements include: Mansfield Woodhouse, Forest Town, Market Warsop and the surrounding Warsop Parish villages and parts of Pleasley, Clipston and Rainworth. Mansfield District has an estimated population of 108,576. This represents 13.28% of the Nottinghamshire County population of 817, 841.
