Land and Economy - <strong>London Borough of Sutton's Industrial Areas - Land and Economy</strong> <strong></strong> The London Borough of Sutton (Sutton Council) is seeking quotations from suitably qualified organisations to undertake a study into the economic growth potential of three Strategic Industrial Locations (SILs) within the Borough. This study should consider the use of land within the SILs, the potential for existing businesses to grow, the accessibility and infrastructure around the SILs, and the potential to increase the 'green' economy within the selected SILs. We are also seeking the creation of an 'Action Framework' which will detail the key steps which need to be taken in order to unlock the economic growth potential within the SILs. The Council is seeking to appoint one organisation and the contract shall be for an initial period of 6 months commencing on 20/08/2015. The Council is tendering this quotation through the London Tenders e-tendering portal. The six LEPs in the West Midlands have agreed to commission this first stage Ex Ante study to enable consideration of establishment of an Urban Development Fund (UDF) for the area to be capable of delivering ERDF investment but also with the capacity to jointly capture and secure other forms of public / private sector funding and revenue streams. Bidders are invited to submit quotations to deliver the Market Analysis Ex Ante stages, in compliance with national and EU/EIB guidance, regarding the market need and demand for a UDF in relation to all the eligible actions in the relevant LEP ESIF strategies to which a UDF can be applied.
