CR138: Lift Inspections and Accompanying Reports - Midland Heart has a requirement for the provision of list inspections, and accompanying reports, as required by legislation; namely the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER). The supplier shall be required to carry out the LOLER inspections to, and provide the accompanying reports on, all Midland Heart lifting equipment which shall include but not be limited to: o Passenger lifts o Platform lifts o Through the floor lifts o Stair lifts within the specified timescales in accordance with the Key Performance Indicator Handbook at Schedule 3. The tenderer shall deliver the service to all property assets identified in Schedule 2. The majority of the properties/properties are located throughout the greater Midlands area. However, a small number are located outside of the Midlands area. Full details can be found in Schedule 1- Specification. A full list of the lift equipment and applicable sites can be found in Schedule 2 - Pricing Schedule and Site List. Midland Heart shall award the contract to one supplier.

Provision of Physical Security Intrusion Testing Services-2 - The ONS is responsible for four (4) sites in the United Kingdom. As part of the Office's quality assurance programme, it has a need to engage a supplier to conduct physical intrusion testing services for its four (4) sites and buildings. The service will be required for all buildings and sites operated by the ONS. It will not include any buildings or sites where the ONS is a minor tenant. The service will provide professional attempts to penetrate the physical security of the premises suing non destructive techniques. Methods can and should include social engineering and should attempt to gain access to the core of the relevant buildings. The service will not be required to use any destructive techniques or measures and will not require any delivery of dummy IEDs etc. The service must provide annual penetration attempts on all the sites covered within the contract. The service could provide an annual assessment of the organisation's exposure to opens source intelligence gathering. All personnel involved with the delivery and operation of the service must hold an active minimum UK Security Vetting Level of SC; the vetting must have been done by UKSV only at Award stage 06/12/2021.

PQ0296 - Provision of a Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Inspection Service - Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the Provision of a PSV Vehicle Inspector. This contract will be for a period of 2 years commencing 1st November 2021 until 31st October 2023, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months, dependant on the requirement of the service and performance of the supplier. Birmingham City Council (the Council) is looking to source a fully qualified PSV Vehicle Inspector to carry out scheduled and spot check inspections on behalf of the Council. The inspections will check the roadworthiness of the Contractors vehicles under the Council's Transport Framework, in line with the guidelines laid down by the Driving Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) Guide to maintaining vehicle roadworthiness (for commercial vehicles and Public Service Vehicles (PSV's) and the core specification of the Transport Framework. Vehicles to be inspected include both wheelchair accessible and non-wheelchair accessible Public Service Vehicles (PSV's). The person the Council is seeking must be technically competent and operationally aware of the safety standards that apply to the vehicles they examine. They should been trained in the techniques of vehicle examination, diagnosis and reporting, and possess a sound working knowledge of the relevant inspection manuals produced by DVSA. The Council anticipates that inspections will be carried out two to three times per month, therefore the successful Provider will need to be available for those periods of time; indicative dates will be agreed at mobilisation stage for the successful provider. GB-Chelmsford: CCC - Chelmsford Weir Investigative Work - Chelmsford Weir consists of two radial gates and one tilting gate. The structure was constructed in 1965 with recent condition survey reports highlighting a requirement to replace the mechanical elements. The previous surveys did not identify any defects in the concrete supporting structures however these inspections were limited to visual inspections only. The aim of this investigation is to determine condition and residual life of the concrete abutments and piers and whether the concrete supporting structures are in a condition that they can be retained for the future alterations. In addition to the concrete elements the sheet pile retaining wall is also to be investigated to determine its condition and design life, this includes the sheet pile wall and associated anchor ties.
