Website development and maintenance - Digital Catapult is now looking to find a partner to develop a series of new satellite websites that would ensure branding, design, front/back end functionality consistency with Digital Catapult main website and its newly build satellites, while allowing a coherent, unique expression for each individual satellite, all based on top of the current Wordpress infrastructure. Digital Catapult is also looking for an SLA and maintenance package of all satellite websites developed. Copywriting, hosting and DNS/TLDs are not in scope of this tender. Bidders should be able to demonstrate previous delivery of high quality UX, design and development. Bidders should demonstrate their project management approach to deliver the initial 2 satellite websites within the timeframe proposed: in particular, they should be able to demonstrate ability to manage and report on a similar scale project and deliver to plan and to time. Proposed technical and information architecture, wireframes and visual expressions presented and aligned with the Digital Catapult Marketing, Design and Engineering teams before committing to build. Bidders should demonstrate what distinguishes them from other website design and development service providers, in terms of the provision of the service subject of this tender. Bidders must detail expected staffing and team profile, and confirm their ability to staff the project in line with the delivery plan. Bidders also should outline any specific risks that may occur delivering the services and how they will address and attempt to mitigate these risks. The initial Contract term shall be for a period of 1 (one) year with an option for Digital Catapult to extend for up to 3 (three) further periods of 6 (six) months each, at its discretion. Digital Catapult does not guarantee any volume or value of work from this Contract. However, based on approximate historical spend, it is anticipated that the maximum total value (including any extensions) for this Contract may be in the region of 120,000 GBP.

GB-London: Collections management and web publishing systems for our photographic collections - NOTE: This notice was updated on 31 August 2020 for the following reason: Please note the following amendments and clarifications, as of 26 August: 1. We have re-considered the allocation of 3 months for phase one of the project and, on reflection, will extend this phase to 6 months. 2. We have re-considered the requirement for hosting from the commencement of the project to the conclusion of digitisation activities (end of 2022) to be included within the project budget, given that this requirement is already being met internally by the Courtauld (and will continue to be met into the future). We therefore confirm tenderers should omit from their tender submissions any costs associated with hosting for this period. The overall budget for the project of £130,000 inc VAT to £150,000 inc VAT remains the same. 3. As a consequence of these changes, the timetable for submission has been extended by another two weeks, to midnight on 28 September 2020(The Software Supplier must deliver to the Courtauld a one stop, fully integrated, centrally managed, expandable and supported Software Solution. In addition to supplying a programme of work detailing the way the solution will be implemented, the solution itself must be capable of meeting internationally recognised standards for: Cloud storage either supplied by contractor, or using the Courtauld's own systems supplied under contract by a 3rd party Digital asset management and rights management - primarily for images but also for video, audio and 3D files.
