PQ0409 - Provision of Selective and Additional Licensing - AWARD - Birmingham City Council requires the services of a Cloud software provider to deliver support services for Selective and Additional licensing. Selective Licensing is a licensing scheme for landlords who privately rent properties that meet the below criteria and fall within the designated areas for Selective Licensing. Licences are for each property. A privately rented property could fall under the Selective Licensing scheme if there is: o One occupant o More than one occupant who form one household (e.g. a family) or; o Two unrelated individuals who form two households (e.g. two friends) Additional licensing is licensing of smaller HMO's of 3 or 4 households that share facilities. On 1 April 2015, a new General Approval came into force.
