Procurement of this new system will deliver all necessary functionalities to replace the outgoing WSP WMS system from April 27th 2023 and will ensure adequate scalability and futureproofing to adapt to future changes to H&T & ETI requirements. The timeline of this project will ensure that the solutions being procured are tested and aligned in time for the start of second year of contract with Ringway (Highways Maintenance contract).  The scope of this project is broader than just to replace the functionality provided by WSP WMS and includes functionality currently provided by other systems that would be brought under one system where possible. PQ0409 - Provision of Selective and Additional Licensing - Birmingham City Council requires the services of a Cloud software provider to deliver support services for Selective and Additional licensing. Selective Licensing is a licensing scheme for landlords who privately rent properties that meet the below criteria and fall within the designated areas for Selective Licensing. Licences are for each property. A privately rented property could fall under the Selective Licensing scheme if there is: o One occupant o More than one occupant who form one household (e.g. a family) or; o Two unrelated individuals who form two households (e.g. two friends) Additional licensing is licensing of smaller HMO's of 3 or 4 households that share facilities. On 1 April 2015, a new General Approval came into force. DLUHC gave permission to implement the scheme on 5th June 2023 General approval for Additional licensing is given if there the local authority carries out a 10 week consultation. This contract will be for a total period of 5 years commencing 1st April 2023 until 31st March 2029, subject to satisfactory performance. Business Ready Growth Specialist 2022/09 - The BR2Ext Programme is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) with further funding from Warwickshire County Council (WCC). The extension period of the Business Ready programme is the 18-month period from 1st January 2022 - 30th June 2023.
