E-Commerce Support & Maintenance Contract - OS have a mature online presence, with our e-commerce store being rebuilt on the BigCommerce platform in September 2020. We are looking for a supplier to work with us to support, maintain and develop the site, IT associated services (see scope) and deliver on the OS Consumer business ambitions; to improve our e-commerce offering and support the overall vision for the OS consumer of "helping more people to get outside more often". The OS Store sells physical and digital products; however, growth of 3rd party products has an ever-increasing focus on physical items. Currently, the OS proposition to the market relies on offers/price to compete and requires development to create an offering [service, product range and site experience] that presents an alternative USP not centred on price. We are migrating from the map store and its familiar audience to a broader B2C retail environment with a wider product set, therefore increasing the use of third-party products. This combined with the presence of other resellers of OS products & competition from established B2C retailers of third-party products creates a distinct growth opportunity within OS. From a platform perspective, the focus is on providing a user experience equal to or superior to the competition (customer centric not platform centric site). Becoming a market leading store in the B2C space for anyone looking to be active outdoors. We are also focusing on efficiency, automation and simplification of site management, moving team focus away from time consuming lights on activities to site optimisation We are looking for a partner wanting to build out the Big Commerce App capability, making the platform more comparable with the market, managing the cost of that journey (minimise bespoke working through the development of re-usable apps). Bring in knowledge of platform agnostic good practises (UX/SEO etc), finding ways to apply that good practice to the OS store.

Requirements Gathering (CRM) - GC Business Growth Hub objective is to introduce a new CRM product that optimises outcomes for GC Business Growth Hub (data, service delivery, social and economic impact etc.) Robust gathering of requirements from all stakeholders is critical to the success of this project, to ensure that a) we procure the best software solution to meet our needs b) once delivered, colleagues and clients receive a slick and efficient system that allows their needs to be met with minimal effort c) funder requirements are met without unnecessary complexity of process We have chosen to outsource this activity to specialists rather than undertake the activity in-house. There are also several central stakeholders whose requirements need to be considered (marketing, contracts officers, compliance, BI, enquiries teams etc.). In addition, there are a range of different funded programmes whose current additional requirements need to be understood and assessed for whether they are expected to be necessary in the future. The engagement is to gather requirements from all relevant business areas, in 2 stages. 1. Initial mid-level requirements gathering (needed now to support with procurement of the most appropriate software solution; Dynamics is expected to be the preferred option) 2. Further fine detail requirements gathering and written specification (blue print) (needed to support the configuration and set up of the product once procured) Requirements need to be captured in such a way to detail the outcome to be achieved, not the method by which it is to be done. The expectation is not to simply recreate what we have in our existing CRM but to focus on essential end results. Rigor and check and challenge is to be applied to gain certainty that there is a definite need for complex requirements. Where these have been validated, robust rationales are to be documented. The successful supplier will run the relevant workshops with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements into a complete and clear set of user stories that can be used to build (configure) the end product. Product recommendations and configuration activity once procured are out of scope. Stakeholders will have been identified and grouped ready for initial workshops to take place. The following activity is required / expected: 1. Mid -level requirements gathering (expected timeframe: 4 weeks) 2. Fine detail requirements gathering (expected timeframe: 12 weeks)

PQ0422 - HRA business planning / development appraisal product - AWARD - Birmingham City Council (BCC) is the largest local authority landlord in England with over 60,000 properties and over 5,000 leaseholders with an annual budget of circa ?300m and a ten-year investment programme of ?1.7b. Its stock is wide ranging with a mix of general needs housing including houses, bungalows, low-rise flats and maisonettes, mid-rise flats, multi-storey tower blocks, and traditional sheltered housing schemes. A review of the business planning process has identified the need to improve the approach and method that City Housing creates and monitors its HRA financial model, reviews and updates its financial plan, carries out scenario planning and understands the implications of changing assumptions and inputs. The service currently uses a custom-built Excel-based HRA financial model, that is complex, hard to follow, not robust, flexible or user friendly. Is totally dependent on the expertise and knowledge of a limited number of people. The Council requires a new HRA business planning / development appraisal product and the related consultancy support to both set up the product and provide ongoing support in its use and external assurance on any modelling carried out. The outcomes of the project are as follows: o Improved capability to carry out scenario planning on financial and investment plans, using clearly defined assumptions and comparisons o Increased transparency and visibility of financial planning across City Housing o Increased transparency and visibility of financial monitoring across City Housing o Enhanced confidence in financial plans and the underpinning assumptions o Enhanced financial assessments of development schemes Commencement of this work will be 1st March 2023 Delivery and initial population of the Business Plan model - 1st June 2023 Support period (1st year) - 1st June 2023 to 30 May 2024 Support period (2nd year) - 1st June 2024 to 30 May 2025 The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
