Tourism Data Hub Feasibility Study - This procurement is for a specialist team to deliver a feasibility study for the development of a sustainable tourism data hub for the 'lead applicant' Destination Plymouth funded by the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise (HotSWLEP) area of Devon and Somerset. Plymouth City Council are running the procurement process on behalf of Destination Plymouth and the contract for the work will be with Destination Plymouth Ltd. Stage one will be a fully costed feasibility study to understand scope, scale, process and potential delivery models for the project if it is implemented. The Tourism Data Hub project will build a sustainable comprehensive data and research programme to support tourism, leisure and hospitality businesses to help drive productivity across the Heart of the South West LEP region of Devon, Somerset, Plymouth and Torbay. The Tourism Data Hub will provide Destination Management Organisations (DMOs) and wider businesses with consistent, robust, and valuable data insights into consumer and business behaviours to enable more efficient market targeting and product development to drive recovery post-Covid. The Tourism Data Hub project will be managed by Destination Plymouth as lead applicant on behalf of all partners. The project will address data gaps across industry, joining up data in the region for the very first time to enable business recovery and growth. PQ0422 - HRA business planning / development appraisal product - Birmingham City Council (BCC) is the largest local authority landlord in England with over 60,000 properties and over 5,000 leaseholders with an annual budget of circa ?300m and a ten-year investment programme of ?1.7b. Its stock is wide ranging with a mix of general needs housing including houses, bungalows, low-rise flats and maisonettes, mid-rise flats, multi-storey tower blocks, and traditional sheltered housing schemes. A review of the business planning process has identified the need to improve the approach and method that City Housing creates and monitors its HRA financial model, reviews and updates its financial plan, carries out scenario planning and understands the implications of changing assumptions and inputs. The service currently uses a custom-built Excel-based HRA financial model, that is complex, hard to follow, not robust, flexible or user friendly. Is totally dependent on the expertise and knowledge of a limited number of people. The Council requires a new HRA business planning / development appraisal product and the related consultancy support to both set up the product and provide ongoing support in its use and external assurance on any modelling carried out. Framework for IT Infrastructure Consultancy - CPI are looking to appoint a suitability experienced Contractor who can undertake a full review of CPI's enterprise architecture and act as a critical friend to work with CPI to aid the modernisation of current architecture and systems used to make day to day business activities and processes more efficient and joined up. CPI envisage that the work linked to this framework agreement will be let in several different phases over the lifetime of the framework agreement. When phases are required, CPI will contact the Contractor to start the process of planning and understanding the proposed costs for the phase. CPI are a Cloud first organisation; the Contractor will be expected to have excellent knowledge of solutions available in the market to aid with the following areas of CPI's business activity: o Procurement including (Procure to Pay P2P) o Warehousing and Inventory Management o CRM o HR o Finance o Asset Management The Contractor should also note that CPI are a Microsoft First organisation and that any solutions should be configurable COTS products. As well as having excellent knowledge of the various solutions available in the areas stated in the list above, the Contractor must also be able to advise on suitable maintenance regimes. The Contractor will also be required to provide CPI access to sandbox environments relating to any potential solutions. CPI expect that all phases of works let through this contract will be ran as projects, therefore the Contractor must have access to appropriate levels of resources for any technical aspects within the phases of work and project management expertise to ensure successful delivery. The Contractor should note that after the initial phase of work, there is no guarantee of the other phases will be let.
