Young Carers in Schools evaluation: Invitation to Tender - Carers Trust and The Children's Society are inviting suitable applicants to tender to complete an evaluation of the Young Carers in Schools (YCiS) programme. Carers Trust are leading the tender process. The evaluation will inform the delivery and structure of support available for young carers through the Young Carers in Schools programme. The Young Carers in Schools programme is a free initiative delivered jointly by Carers Trust and The Children's Society. The programme works with schools and carer services across England to increase awareness and knowledge of young carers amongst education professionals, increase identification of young carers and ultimately help young carers achieve their full potential in education. The evaluation objectives are: 1. Whether achieving the Award has an impact on: - School staff knowledge of young carers and confidence in identifying young carers - The number of identified young carers in schools - Young carers' wellbeing, attendance and attainment 2. Whether additional activity, such as toolkits and webinars, are helpful for schools and if any additional activity is required to support schools improve their young carer provision. 3. To evaluate the process around what's working well (for whom and in what context), what is not working well and any recommendations for change. 4. The role of partnership working in delivering the Young Carers in Schools programme, specifically young carer services and local authorities. We would expect four outputs from the evaluation: 1. To deliver an interim report that presents a clear and targeted set of recommendations. This report would focus on the impact of the previous Award (January 2021 to December 2023) in order to inform current programme delivery. Interim report target date December 2024. 2. To deliver the final report to in September 2025 that includes programme activity from January 2024. 3. To identify a clear set of guidelines for continuous monitoring, evaluation and learning. This will include a review of the Theory of Change. To be provided alongside the interim report in December 2024. 4. To identify any policy messages that emerge from the findings in both the interim and final report. The required reports should be delivered as follows: Interim report with findings - by 6 December 2024 Learning and Recommendations workshop - by 31 January 2025 Final report - September 2025 We welcome bidders' proposals of suitable methodologies and approaches in conducting this evaluation. Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA) & CFA 2 Advisor 2024 - The Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA) is part of the UK’s efforts to support climate action at scale by improving the quality of emerging green businesses and initiatives in Emerging Markets and Developing Economies and matches them to relevant investors. It also fosters action to address relevant policy and regulatory barriers.  We intend to launch a tendering process to source an Independent Advisor who will collaborate with DESNZ to deliver CFA. Carents Room - Phase 2 - "The Carents Room" project aims to reach 1 million potential Carents in the UK, this ambition agreed between Cadent and NGN in October 2021. There are currently an estimated 5 million Carents nationally. They are the largest group of unpaid carers and growing rapidly in the face of our ageing population. The Carents Room is an interactive, online website for Carents to access anywhere in the UK and receive instant online support. The objectives of this project are: - To have an interactive online website for 1 million Carents during the course of the project to access instant support, energy advice and health information - Ability to be able to register an account with The Carents Room to access additional service and support - Direct users to findmygdn.co.uk to identify their GDN and link to relevant websites to generate 5000 Priority Service Registrations (PSR) per annum. Using a referral code to enable GDNs to track how many referrals the website has generated. This method of traffic direction can also be used to encourage users of "The Carents Room" to complete CO awareness questionnaires - Improve functionality of the website that is currently active - Increase awareness of the website and the related social media community by using a marketing strategy company - Raise awareness about the dangers of CO by specific information, and additional signposting to relevant online resources including, but not limited to, GDN websites etc - Raise awareness of energy efficiency by specific information, and additional signposting to relevant online resources including, but not limited to, GDN websites, charities, warm home schemes etc - To become commercially self-sustainable - GDPR Compliance - Accessibility of the website to be functional e.g. Recite ME

WFD Procurement Sri Lanka Call for Experts ITT - In light of the ongoing economic crisis in Sri Lanka, WFD seeks to support the legislative process to address the crisis through an inclusive approach to policymaking and improved practices in public debt management and finance oversight. To this end, WFD has been providing technical assistance and capacity building to parliamentary staff and Members of Parliament (MPs) from cross parties on better understanding their role in finance oversight. Additionally, WFD also supported the Coalition for Inclusive Impact comprising MPs, civil society representatives, media personnel, and young political activists with the objective providing evidence-based policy recommendations to policymakers and enabling a more inclusive and participatory policymaking environment. Accordingly, WFD intends to procure a framework agreement to provide consultancy services, to: • Provide technical support to WFD's stakeholders, including to MPs who are also the members of the Coalition for Inclusive Impact (CII) to advocate for economic inclusion priorities during policy discussions. • Coordinate with the members of the CII for the purposes of conducting community research and strategy development for the furtherance of its mandate. The Expert will be subject to a framework agreement, which will establish the common core terms and conditions governing any order contracts to be awarded over the period of the framework agreement.
