Cleaning, Caretaking and Grounds Maintenance Services - This cleaning, caretaking and grounds maintenance services contract which has been spilt into 2 lots: Lot 1 - Cleaning and Caretaking Services This lot includes cleaning of the internal areas of housing blocks and making sure they are free of litter whilst also ensuring that the external communal areas are kept clean, litter & detritus free. The Contracting Authority will require specialist cleaning to sheltered housing schemes to ensure that the correct level of service is provided. There will also be the inclusion of some ancillary cleaning and other associated duties that may form part of this contract. The residents have indicated to the Contracting Authority that the removal of bulk refuse and fly tipping (includes items such as black bags, refuse sacks, small pieces of furniture) from inside and outside residential blocks and on estates is very important. Lot 2 - Grounds Maintenance Services This lot will include cutting and maintenance of grassed areas, tThe collection of litter and leaves from all communal areas, weed control (hard and soft landscaped areas) and shrub, hedge and rose maintenance. Tree management (including carrying out a tree survey) will also be included.

Places for People Group Tree Surveys - Places for People Group wish to appoint suitably resourced, qualified and experienced tree surveying consultants in order to implement a Group Tree Surveying Contract for its tree stock across our landholdings in England and Wales. One consultant will be appointed per lot for the provision of Tree Surveying services. Consultants are able to bid for one or more regional lots to be delivered according to the programme in either: Phase 1: 1st April 2016 - 31st August 2017 Phase 2: 1st April 2017 - 31st August 2018 Bidders should therefore note that certain regional lots are to be delivered in the different time periods as per above. The opportunity is regionally lotted as per below with a single supplier to be appointed for each lot: 1) North, East and West Yorkshire 2) Greater Manchester and Cheshire 3) London and South East 4) Milton Keynes 5) North East 6) North West (Lancashire) 7) South West 8) Cotman (East Anglia) 9) South Yorkshire and the Midlands. <b><u>Minimum Requirements</u></b> As a minimum requirement, chosen contractors will be required to: · Financial stability - if the information provided presents an unacceptable level of risk to the Authority using the Financial Stability Review section below. · Hold Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) accreditation, or equivalent SSIP scheme for the contract term or commit for above to be in place prior to contract start. · Convictions - if the information provided indicates that tenderers have been convicted of offenses. · Hold insurances at a minimum of five million pounds for both Public and Employer's liability. · Hold a valid, signed health and safety policy · Comply with Equality and Diversity legislation · Hold a relevant Level 4 qualification as per Arboriculture Association guidance · Confirm full acceptance of Places for People Terms and Conditions · Confirm Social Value provisions · Confirm ability to collect tree surveys electronically by a device capable of recording positional accuracy to commercial grade, to a level of +/- 1.3 metres or better, under normal operating conditions. EBC-ML-Arboricultural Framework Agreement - Elmbridge Borough Council wishes to select a maximum of 3 providers to the framework for Arboricultural Services. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced organisations who wish to provide Arboricultural Services to Elmbridge Borough Council to join the Framework Agreement. The Services comprise of arboricultural works to trees throughout the boroughs open spaces and land holdings. Elmbridge Borough Council has a large quantity of trees across over 500 hectares of publicly accessible country side, and 350 hectares of amenity parks, recreation grounds, cemeteries, church grounds, open spaces, community centres and offices. The Arboricultural works will be specified by tree officers and members of the Leisure & Cultural Services Team. Contractors can be asked to carry out a broad range of tree surgery and arboricultural services from large dismantles and crown reductions, to formative pruning, crown lifting, and new tree planting including emergency work when necessary. Some of the service will need to be carried out on highways were the adjacent land is owned by Elmbridge Borough Council.

Arboricultural Services EAST0694 - Eastlight is seeking a partner to deliver its responsive Arboricultural Services contract across the Eastlight operational district, currently shown in Appendix N – Location Map, the boundaries will be extended in the future. The service will be predominantly for communal areas/ land, public footpaths, verges and any other land/public space that Eastlight has a responsibility for and will also include gardens of domestic occupied and void properties. Responsive works shall include emergency and planned instructions. Emergency response will be required 24/7 These works are estimated to be worth £150,000 per annum. These numbers are for indication only and offer no guarantee of actual work levels. Eastlight reserves the right to cancel individual orders (prior to their commencement) and reissue the same works to another party. This will contract will run for a period of 3 years plus the option to extend for 2 x 12 months.
