Arboricultural Services Framework - AWARD - Oxford Direct Services (ODS) Arboricultural services are comprised of a range of planned works according to a review & maintenance schedule at particular times of year, and also a range of unplanned work required on an ad-hoc basis in response to service requests and natural events. Arboricultural Services in Oxford City and surrounding areas are a year-round requirement. The business need for this framework contract is centred around ODS's statutory responsibilities to maintain the tree stock that it is responsible for. Trees must be maintained in a safe manner to ensure users of the Public Highway, Council owned properties and Council maintained land are as safe as is reasonably practicable. To enable resulting tree works to be delivered, ODS wishes to utilise competent contractors/persons due to the high risks associated with arboricultural works. In light of this, ODS has a requirement for a framework agreement to provide high quality specialist Arboricultural Services. Tenderers are invited to tender for the provision of the Service described in the Statement of Requirement, Standards and Specification as long as they are Arboriculture Association Approved.

Invitation to Join National Highway's Social Enterprise Dynamic Purchasing System - National Highways is inviting organisations to apply to the Social Enterprise Dynamic Purchasing System (SEDPS) to provide Goods and/or Services to National Highways, our Supply Chain and other Government departments across England. The SEDPS is available to organisations with primarily social objectives whose surpluses are principally reinvested for that purpose in the business or in the community, rather than being driven by the need to maximise profit for shareholders and owners. We have enabled this DPS to allow our supply chain and other government departments to procure the Goods and/or Services that these organisations offer. The use of the SEDPS is to further National Highways' commitment to social value, in support of National Highways Social Value Plan. A link to the plan can be found below. https://nationalhighways.co.uk/media/tdog2fma/ccs0622297296-003_social-value-strategy-report_final.pdf Applications will open on the 14th August 2023. If you are interested in applying to join the SEDPS or would like further information, please contact the National Highways Procurement Team at socialenterprisedps@nationalhighways.co.uk or visit our webpage below. https://nationalhighways.co.uk/suppliers/becoming-a-supplier/social-enterprises/

NUN - Tree Services Framework Agreement - Arboricultural service provision throughout the Borough. Please refer to Tender document set for further information. Please register via the Council`s e-procurement system - CSW-JETS https://in-tendhost.co.uk/csw-jets CSW-JETS is a sub-regional e-tendering portal run by In-tend. Since February 2010, Coventry; Solihull; Warwickshire; Nuneaton and Bedworth; Rugby alongside other local district Councils have been working together as a shared procurement service. In conjunction with Solihull Community Housing, we have joined together to bring you a collaborative E-Tendering portal. CSW-JETS enables us to advertise our opportunities across all authorities through the same system. This means that there is a single point of contact for procurement in the sub-region so you only have to register once to receive notifications for all authorities. Registering on the portal will make it easier for local suppliers to find, respond to and be alerted to tender opportunities. Registration is free, and takes just a few minutes. When complete, you will be able to express interest in any of the Councils'/Authorities' opportunities when they are made available including this tender. In addition, we will be able to access your details whenever we have a requirement, and you may then be invited to tender or quote for work. Once you are registered and log in to the system you will be able to locate the tender opportunity, express interest and access the documentation.

This tender is for the provision of arboriculture services to contribute to the delivery of Epping Forest's Countryside Stewardship Scheme (CSS) agreement. The works are funded by the UK government's CSS grant. We are seeking two contractors who have previous experience of providing similar works, as described in the Schedule of Work, in a high value nature conservation site that has veteran trees (Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) & Special Area of Conservation (SAC)) that is open to the public. The services are being tendered as 4 separate lots, as described in the specification. Bidders must tender for a minimum of two (2) lots. The City will only be awarded any two (2) of the four (4) lots. In the event that a single bidder scores achieves the highest overall evaluated score for more than two (2) lots, the City will determine which lots are to be awarded to that bidder based upon the lowest priced commercial schedule for each lot.
