PQ0422 - HRA business planning / development appraisal product - AWARD - Birmingham City Council (BCC) is the largest local authority landlord in England with over 60,000 properties and over 5,000 leaseholders with an annual budget of circa ?300m and a ten-year investment programme of ?1.7b. Its stock is wide ranging with a mix of general needs housing including houses, bungalows, low-rise flats and maisonettes, mid-rise flats, multi-storey tower blocks, and traditional sheltered housing schemes. A review of the business planning process has identified the need to improve the approach and method that City Housing creates and monitors its HRA financial model, reviews and updates its financial plan, carries out scenario planning and understands the implications of changing assumptions and inputs. The service currently uses a custom-built Excel-based HRA financial model, that is complex, hard to follow, not robust, flexible or user friendly. Is totally dependent on the expertise and knowledge of a limited number of people. The Council requires a new HRA business planning / development appraisal product and the related consultancy support to both set up the product and provide ongoing support in its use and external assurance on any modelling carried out. Foundational Economy Developing a Community of Practice - GMCA is seeking to procure services to create a 'Community of Practice' to amplify and share learning from and between people and organisations that will receive funding for innovation as part of a project to develop Greater Manchester's Foundational Economy. The "foundational economy" supplies essential goods and services, ensuring that Greater Manchester can function effectively. It includes key workers, essential supply chains and infrastructure, culturally important goods and services (like hairdressing and beauty) and it underpins places, other parts of the economy, and well-being. TVCA-PROC-0142- Post Evaluation of the ERDF funded SME Energy Efficiency Scheme (SMEEEs) - Tees Valley Combined Authority is seeking external consultancy support to undertake a post evaluation of its circa £2.9million ERDF funded SME Energy Efficiency Scheme (SMEEEs) (the Project). The overarching objective of the project is to provide support to eligible Tees Valley SMEs to identify and embed energy efficiency savings within the business. This is achieved through the provision of fully funded energy efficiency audits and expert advice to identify ways to save energy. The project also provides capital grants as a contribution towards works undertaken to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to lower energy consumption, incorporating low and zero carbon technology measures, and to look at incorporating energy from renewable sources. Deadline for the post evaluation final report is 31st May 2023.
