WDC - Leisure Centres Development Programme(Refurbisment and Extension of Newbold Comyn and St Nicholas Park Leisure Centres). - Warwick District Council is seeking to appoint a single contractor to provide pre-construction services, including design, and to undertake refurbishment and extension works to Newbold Comyn and St Nicholas Park Leisure Centres. The pre-construction services would be subject to a Pre-Construction Services Agreement, and any subsequent contract for the construction work would be subject to a separate NEC3 ECC Option A contract. For the avoidance of doubt, this procurement exercise covers both the Pre-Construction Services Agreement as well as any subsequent construction contract, and, under this procurement exercise, only a tenderer who is awarded the Pre-Construction Services Agreement is eligible for being considered for the construction phase. The award of any construction contract is in accordance with the terms of the Pre-Construction Services Agreement and the outcomes delivered under it, and is always at the sole discretion of the Council. The Council is issuing this Pre-Qualification Questionnaire PQQ to identify potential providers who may be invited to tender for the opportunity to provide this work. This PQQ sets out the information which is required by the Council in order to assess the suitability of Potential Providers in terms of their technical knowledge and experience, capability/capacity, organisational and financial standing to meet the requirement. St Nicholas Park Leisure Centre consists of the refurbishment of the wet side facilities and changing rooms, a new build extension and associated external works. The new build facilities include, but are not limited to, a new reception, studios, changing facilities and fitness suite. Also included is the replacement and upgrade of the building services and pool filtration systems.

NAM Interior Designer - The National Army Museum (NAM) is looking to appoint an experienced consultant/ consultancy to help it develop the interior design of the non-gallery spaces as part of the Museum's 23.25m GBP Building for the Future (BFTF) project. Specifically this appointment will relate to: 1) Entrance/Orientation area 2) Retail area 3) Cafe area 4) Board room 5) High level bridge 6) Learning suite including Templar Study Centre The required outputs are: - A review of RIBA Stage F proposals and subsequent work undertaken to date and coordination with the same. Note that the Interior Design is at Stage D. - A review of the visual communications work undertaken to date. - A review of the signage and wayfinding strategy and coordination with the same. - A review of the Commercial Report completed. - A review of the Early Years Design proposal and coordination with the same. - Design of the above named spaces (1-6) in light of the above. Note that the floor, wall and ceiling finishes have already been defined as they needed to be coordinated with the gallery finishes. The appointed Interior Designer will therefore need to work within these parameters. - In particular, whilst each of the spaces will require their own character, NAM are keen that the non-gallery spaces read as a whole with a common language to pull together the museum as a fully designed space. Each of the spaces that will fall under the Interior Designer are likely to be used for corporate hire to varying degrees and as such the quality of the spaces must be suitable for these functions as well as their everyday use.

TD0946 Parkland View extra care development: specialist interior design, supply and installation of soft furnishings and furniture to communal areas - Derby City Council intends to appoint a Service Provider for the provision of specialist interior design, manufacture/supply and installation of soft furnishings, furniture, etc, in respect of the communal areas of Parkland View, an extra care development that is currently under construction for the Council. The company chosen to work with the Council will be required to design the internal colour schemes, furniture, soft furnishings, internal non-statutory signage and decorative accessories in a style that reflects current best practice to achieve an overall environment that is sympathetic to the needs of older people and those with dementia and similar age-related conditions. A two stage procurement process is being used. Stage one of this process comprises a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ), designed to identify and shortlist suitable potential suppliers. Stage two will be the formal tender process involving those organisations identified and selected from stage one. The shortlist will be likely to include four to six organisations (providing that there is sufficient number of suitable applicants for this number to be selected). The right is reserved to invite more or fewer organisations. The Invitation to Tender document, including the full specification, is available at this stage for information only. The only submission required from interested parties for Stage one is the completed PQQ. The contract is intended to start 3rd August 2015 and expire April 2016. The successful tenderer will be expected to work with the Council and main contractor to agree a detailed timetable for the work. Suppliers wishing to express interest and obtain the documentation must do so by 3pm on Tuesday 16th June 2015. The deadline for returns is 2pm, Thursday 18th June 2015.
