Time lapse video & photography capture of works on a site in the North Pennines - The Coal Authority was established by Parliament to undertake specific statutory duties, set out in the Coal Industry Act 1994, associated with licensing coal mining operations; managing property and the historic legacy arising from the ownership of the coal reserves and underground workings; settling subsidence damage claims not falling on coal mine operators and providing access to coal mining information. This requirement will be for the provision of a short video to capture progress of a construction site over time as well as the provision of photographs showing progress on site. It is anticipated that the construction activities will take approximately 16 weeks to complete and that Completion of the main works will be during December 2018. The construction contractor is expected to mobilise to site on 3rd September 2018. The time-lapse video and photographs shall be provided within 60 days of the completion of construction activities. The deliverables shall capture the full construction period. The contractor shall be responsible for installation and removal of any fixed installations, as well as service and maintenance throughout the life of the project. Time-lapse video shall be professionally edited. It shall start with a graphic, including project title, dates, project sponsors and logos. Periods of inactivity or persistent bad weather precluding construction shall be removed to produce an interesting video of circa 2 - 3 minutes in length. It is likely that final landscaping for the site will not be possible in 2018 due to the timings. As such the reinstated spoil is left exposed. The Contractor may be asked to return to site in 2019 to record installation of landscaping. A start up meeting will be held at the Employers Mansfield office. A pre-handover meeting will be arranged 2 weeks prior to the submission of final deliverables to review draft deliverables. Framework for a range of metric survey services carried out on historic sites and monuments. - AWARD - Historic England wishes to establish framework agreements for a range of metric survey services carried out on historic sites and monuments. The services under the framework agreements fall into the following categories: Lot 1. Image Based Survey including photogrammetric cover of building fabric, elevations, ceilings and floors. Precise co-ordinate control by use of marked control targets and detail points. Photo cover and control commensurate with up to 1:20 scale photogrammetric output. 1.1 Orthophotographic output including provision of digital elevation model (DEM) data 1.2 Rectified photography: Generation of digital rectified photomontages and control package of building fabric, elevations, ceilings and floors with precise coordinate control, by use of marked control targets and detail points. Lot 2: Low Level Aerial Photography: Split in to: 2a; From manually controlled platform and 2b; Using programmable flight control systems including provision georeferenced orthophotographic output and digital elevation model (DEM) data using ground control points: Minimum height 2 metres to maximum height 120 metres Lot 3. Topographic Survey of historic landscapes and sites at 1:200 and 1:100 scales using terrestrial techniques. Lot 4. Measured Building Survey in the form of plans, sections, elevations and sectional elevations at 1:50 and 1:20 scales. Includes provision of laser scan point clouds for the Historic Environment Scotland Rae Project Consultants are required to be conversant with all aspects of metric survey described above as applied to historic buildings and landscapes, with specific understanding of the Lot(s) for which they wish to be considered. The contract period will be 3 years, commencing April 2018, with the option to extend for a further year by mutual agreement with the suppliers. The total overall expenditure on these services is estimated to be in the region of 100 000 GPB per annum (please note that this figure is given for guidance only and cannot be guaranteed). Services under the frameworks will also be ordered by English Heritage and Historic Environment Scotland. It is envisaged that the top scoring 6 to 8 suppliers from the selection process, for each lot will be invited to tender. We anticipate that 4-6 suppliers for each lot will then be appointed as framework suppliers.
