Records Storage Service - Bedford Borough Council (the Authority) hosts a shared service for records management for the three unitary authorities in Bedfordshire - Bedford Borough Council (BBC), Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) and Luton Borough Council (LBC). This service is known by the name of Bedfordshire Archives & Records Service. Bedfordshire Archives & Records Service will act as the liaison between the Authority and the Contractor for the purposes of this contract. Until 2002 Bedfordshire Archives & Records Service stored all material in its own storage areas. Since 2002 the service has supplemented its own storage capacity with external storage provided by an established storage company. The Contractor will be responsible for providing the external records storage facility.

Revenues and Benefits Electronic Document Records Management and Workflow Software Solution - Compass Point Business Services (East Coast) Ltd (the Company), is owned by the East Lindsey District Council and the South Holland District Council. The Company is inviting tenders for the supply and maintenance of a Revenues and Benefits Electronic Document Records Management and Workflow IT Software System (''the Software Solution''), to be hosted on the Company's premises. The Company shall procure the System in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (''PCR'') utilising the Restricted Procedure as set out in Regulation 28 PCR. The Software Solution shall support up to one hundred and seventy two (172) users at the start of the Contract, excluding Company's System Administrators who shall be providing technical support. The Software Solution shall be capable for use across all of the Company's Service Areas. The Company is seeking to enhance its capability to capture, retain and access information through the introduction of an enterprise-wide Software Solution for primary use within the Revenues and Benefits department but with future capability, if required, to roll the same functionalities out to other departments, including for example Human Resources and Finance. The Contractor shall provide bespoke quotations of any future requirements. Bidders shall demonstrate that the Software Solutions shall meet this need and shall integrate within the Company's existing IT Infrastructure as outlined within the procurement documentation. The successful Contractor shall be responsible for providing the services, liaising closely with the Company's Contract Manager. The Contract shall be let for an initial period of four (4) years intended to commence on 08 July 2019 with the option to extend for further six (6) years at a two (2) years intervals of up to a maximum contract period of ten (10) years.
