B&NES Wellness Service - B&NES Council is seeking to recommission an integrated Wellness Service. The Wellness Service aims to improve the health of individuals and communities by providing support to address factors that influence physical health and emotional wellbeing. The Service has a particular focus on addressing health inequalities, through system workforce capacity building, working directly with communities to design and deliver sustainable programmes and services, and targeted support to individuals. It is proposed that the Service will provide; • A universal prevention offer to support self-care and health improvement. • A triage function for the B&NES Community Wellbeing Hub and access to Wellness services. • A health coach function working with priority individuals and delivering specific behaviour change interventions. • An emotional and mental wellbeing function supporting people to develop and/or maintain their independence within the community. • A community capacity building function co-developing and delivering culturally appropriate, holistic support in partnership with communities. • A system co-ordination and capacity building function to increase prevention capacity. • A small grant function to support development and delivery of self-care and prevention opportunities by local groups. The proposed contract length is for 4 years with up to 2-year extension option. The contract will start in April 2025. The Provision of an Adults Integrated Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Recovery Service - Buckinghamshire Council has awarded a contract with a single provider suitably qualified and experienced to deliver a fully integrated trauma informed, clinically led public facing treatment and recovery service that inspires recovery, through development of a vibrant recovery community in Buckinghamshire, utilising asset-based approaches, and mutual aid to sustain recovery. The awarded Service will support Buckinghamshire residents aged 18 and over who are experiencing problematic drug and or alcohol use at any level. In addition, the Service Provider shall deliver a standalone Families and Carers Service, that supports any adult who is impacted by a loved one’s use irrespective of whether their loved one is in treatment or not. This is an award notice for the provision of an Adults Integrated Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Recovery Service, which falls within Schedule 3 (Social and Other Specific Services) to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015). The council conducted this procurement in accordance with Section 7 (regulations 74 – 76) of the PCR 2015 (the ‘Light Touch Regime’). Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) may apply to this opportunity. The contract start date is 01/04/2024 for 5 years with the option, at the discretion of the relevant contracting authorities to extend for a further 4 years.

Housing Support Services - The Housing and Support Solutions service is the provision of care and support that enables a Person to maintain their independence in a Supported Housing setting (Lot 1), or through peripatetic Support Solutions (Lot 2) in the community. Five beds will be utilised for long term residential care and 1 bed will be for emergency respite stays.
