SPLD Assessment Services - AWARD - The University of Hertfordshire is conducting a tender exercise in order to set up a contract for the provision of Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) Assessment Services. It is expected that it may be necessary to offer multiple contracts to suitably qualified and experienced suppliers in order to provide the service required. The number of suppliers will be a maximum of three. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded 1st May 2024 and will run from the 1st of August 2024 for three (3) years until 31st July 2027. At the end of the first three years the University will have an option to extend for a further two years to 31st July 2029 in twelve month increments. This is subject to satisfactory performance of the contract. Requirements may vary throughout the academic year so the successful bidders will need to be flexible in order to meet changing demand. The University reserves the right not to use the service as the contract is based on student demand and budget constraints. The award of this contract does not guarantee any work under this contract. P0938 - Support and advice services for multiple disadvantaged vulnerable adults - The Council is conducting the procurement exercise under the Light Touch Regime (LTR) Design Procedure set out in chapter 3 section 7 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015) and the Public Procurement (Amendments, Repeals and Revocations) Regulations 2016. There is a requirement for the provision for multiple disadvantaged vulnerable adults. This often leads to health problems and social exclusion being exacerbated and the potential to rely on crisis or statutory services and high-cost care later in life. Citizens in scope will be experiencing or have experienced two or more of the following: o substance misuse; o poor mental health; o a history of repeat homelessness; o a history of offending; o those who experience serial exclusion from services or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream services. Note refugees and individuals from migrant communities may fit into any of the above client groups. The services are arranged by the following client groups together with the distinct services based on the service users' requirements: Client Groups o Lot 1 - Young People aged 18-24yrs; 16-24yrs for the Youth Hub. o Lot 2 - Older Adults 25yrs plus; 18yrs plus for the Discharge to Assess (Health and Homeless) Service. o Lot 3 - Victims of Domestic Abuse; 18yrs plus; 16yrs plus for the Domestic Abuse Hub o Lot 4 - Offenders; 18yrs plus. The desired number of providers is stated as either Single or Multiple. Where there will be multiple providers the Council will decide the number of providers. Except for those Lots listed below; the contract duration will be 5 years, unless terminated under the terms and conditions of contract, with the provision to extend for up to an additional 2 years subject to requirements and satisfactory performance. Lot 2.5 - Discharge to Assess (Health and Homeless) Service; the contract duration will be 4.5 years unless terminated under the terms and conditions of contract, with the provision to extend for up to an additional 2 years subject to requirements and satisfactory performance.
