IT BASED QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM - AWARD - Procurement of an IT based Quality Assurance System Reference ASC111 The Borough Council of Sandwell ("the Council") invites quotes subject to the Service Specification- included in Section C of the Invitation to Quote (ITQ), for the purchase of an IT Based Quality Assurance System. The Council is a provider of day care, extra care, domiciliary care and residential care and it is looking to procure an effective quality assurance system, with up to date policies and procedures to ensure for CQC regulated services particularly it has a framework that withholds scrutiny and supports effective governance. The system is to achieve the following outcomes To enable the local authority to have an effective governance framework in place for its regulated services To support effective management of staff To support compliance with Care Quality Commission standards Further details are in the Specification document (Appendix A). The duration of the contract will be 22 February 2022 to 21 February 2025, but this may be subject to change. QU208 - Bespoke Business Diagnostic Support Service - AWARD - Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of a bespoke business diagnostic support service for home care providers who have been unsuccessful following a recent tender exercise. The Council has made a conscious decision to help support the unsuccessful providers (and of course the affected citizens) and therefore will be giving them a transition period up to 1 year to refocus their business to adapt to the change in their circumstances, some who may have held contracts for a number of years.. Citizens who currently receive services from these providers will have the option to continue using their providers who have not been successful under a direct payment relationship if they wish to do so. The Council is therefore proposing to commission a specialist provider to deliver business diagnostic support and service development support to providers of adults' and children's social care in Birmingham. The support will target providers who were not successful in joining the new 2019 Home Support Framework. The business support will assist the providers with looking at new market opportunities that may include use of personal budgets to fund service delivery, service re-design and new service development and delivery such as the self-funders market i.e. citizens who need care and can pay for it themselves. Bart's Health NHS Trust Cancer Services - Chemotherapy Prescribing & Clinical Audit. - Barts Health NHS Trust requires a single, specialist Chemotherapy Electronic Prescribing System for Cancer Services for use across the Trust. This system must deliver full compliance with prevailing UK legal requirements, standards of practice, data-set submissions and NHS information governance frameworks. In doing so, it will provide a complete and chronological Electronic Patient Record (EPR) of all contact with the cancer services team. This will include prescribing, reviewing, referring, compounding, dispensing, reporting and administering systemic anticancer chemotherapy for Solid Tumour, Haemato-Oncology and Paediatric services.
