Environmental Sensors Soft Market Testing - NCHA are conducting a soft market testing exercise to understand the range of Environmental Sensors currently on the market in advance of a future procurement exercise. In the short term we want to understand which sensors can provide reliable information about the conditions inside our homes, particularly air-quality, temperature and humidity. In the medium term we would like to install around 300 sensors to pilot the chosen technology. Long term, we hope to roll out sensors across many of our 10,000 homes, helping us to understand indoor conditions, predict and avoid problems, evaluate the effectiveness of retrofit works, and ultimately improve the wellbeing of customers.
