Purchase of Rare or Inherited Disease Test Directory testing for Welsh patients - In-line with All Wales Medical genomic Service’s (AWMGS) commissioning model, AWMGS will procure from CeGaT whole exom sequencing (WES) for trio or singleton virtual panel analysis, MLPA and single gene testing for patients where this testing cannot be accessed within the NHS E laboratory network. project_5463 - BIOT Capillary Cell Counter - The agency is looking for a non-image-based Cell Counter with wide size profile that can accommodate for large stem cells and fibroblasts, live/dead cell discrimination and fast processing without requirement for high cell numbers; more accuracy than manual counting or Trypan Blue-image based counting. At present we have £15,000 funds approved (including delivery, installation and 20% VAT). We would however, encourage suppliers biding to quote for option(s) that can meet the essential requirements but also the desirables should we be able to seek further funding subject to tender responses.
