Dynamic Purchasing System for the provision of ULEV and Hybrid type vehicles - Nottingham City Council (hereafter 'the Authority') is seeking tenders from sufficiently experienced and qualified providers for inclusion on a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to provide ULEV and Hybrid type vehicles. The Authority's detailed requirements are defined in the Service Specification outlined in Section 4 of this document. The DPS will consist of eight lots. There is no limit on the number of providers accepted onto each lot. The provision of Inspections of Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicles / Appointment of vehicle test Examiner - Huntingdonshire District Council is responsible for the licensing of hackney carriages (taxis) and private hire vehicles based within the District. Such vehicles are restricted to a maximum of eight passengers and there are currently approximately 800 licensed by the Council. Prior to being licensed, vehicles are required to undergo an examination to ensure that they are mechanically sound and of an acceptable standard both in appearance and cleanliness. CPU 6437 The Nottingham Car Club - Concession - The Nottingham car club has been in operation since 2014. First launched with a City Centre focus it was retendered in 2019 and the contract will expire in May 2024. The City Council is keen for a car club service to continue beyond this date and further expand the service by increasing the number of hire locations, and to offer a car club service operated by a mix of Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) , hybrid and Euro 6 vehicles. This tender is seeking a Concessionaire to operate a car club in the city of Nottingham, expanding the Nottingham offer and with the potential to expand out to the surrounding areas. The concession will utilise the existing designated car cub bays across the city and grow the offer to increase the minimum number of vehicles on the fleet from 23 to a minimum of 48 over the duration of the concession. Subject to land being available to provide the dedicated car club bays, there is no upper limit on the number of vehicles to be included in the car club offer, and the Concessionaire shall work with the City Council to grow and develop the car club fleet throughout the concession period. The requirements are defined in the Specification - Section 4 of this document.
