PQ0485 - Timer Clock with Remote Facility - Christmas & Festival Lighting Programme - The Council requires a supplier for the provision of a timer clock, with remote facility, enclosed within an IP rated mountable encasing, with suitable DIN-rail fixings. Each timer clock (to be referred as Component) will connect to a suitable power source and also a decorative lighting feature, that will be mounted onto a street lighting column. It is expected that the Council will require supply of 700 to 800 components, detailed in the specification. The contract will be for the supply only of the required components. All Components will be required no later than 26th January 2024 and must be delivered to a city centre storage area. Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Provision - AWARD - This is an 18-month pilot scheme intended to inform the future EVC strategy of Thirteen Housing Group. It comprises of the installation of new and replacement of existing EV charger points at the below locations and includes a requirement for an open protocol cloud-based management system. The project is to be managed and fully billed to Thirteen by a Principal Contractor. As part of the management responsibilities of the Principal Contractor, they are to coordinate the supply & installation of the EV chargers as detailed within DTA's Scope of Works. Our core sectors cover industrial, medical, aerospace and oil & gas. We wish to procure a SMT Incoming Material Station with the main objective of the automation of the goods in and stock control processes. This new system will allow us to have complete retrievability and traceability using unique ID's on each stock item. Fuel Cell Tender - The Cornwall Marine Hydrogen Centre (CMHC) will offer independent expertise and testing facilities for hydrogen fuel cell electric propulsion systems for marine vessels. It will specialise in equipment and systems for leisure and commercial vessels up to 18m in length. This market, which is estimated to be over 30 million vessels worldwide, is currently powered mostly by diesel, and will need to be replaced by clean propulsion systems to meet Net Zero goals. Part-funded by an ERDF research grant, the CMHC will be based at the University of Exeter's Renewable Energy faculty in Cornwall. Individual components or whole hydrogen propulsion systems will be tested and monitored in a purpose-built facility, providing technology providers with independent validation and accelerated product development. The delivery partners provide a unique blend of world-class Renewable Energy and Marine Engineering expertise. Pure Energy Professionals (PEP) has a 30-year track record of working with manufacturers and investors in renewable energy and has been at the forefront of new technology adoption. The University of Exeter is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of research-intensive UK universities, and is in the top ten for renewable energy. The current focus of the CMHC is to build the test rig, with a demonstration hydrogen electric propulsion system, using commercially available components. The central component of this demonstration system is the fuel cell, which is the item to be procured in this tender. The purchase, build and commissioning of the test rig and demonstration system must be completed by the end of 2022.
