Yeo Bank Farm Bridge, Ground Investigation Works - The Proposed Ground Investigation works contract comprises the following works: 1. 4 No. boreholes advanced using a drilling rig capable of both dynamic sampling and rotary coring that can obtain the required samples through possible made ground/fill, superficial deposits and solid geology to depths of approximately 30 mbgl. Boreholes shall extend 7.5m in to competent bedrock. Collection of Piston/UT100 undisturbed samples where possible, SPT testing and collection of rock cores. 2. Soils to be logged in accordance with BS EN ISO 14688-1:2002+A1:2013 and BS5930:2015. 3. Rock to be logged in accordance with BS EN ISO 14689-1:2002, BS 5930:2015 and with consideration of CIRIA C570. 4. 10 No. Cone Penetration Tests, to refusal, using the Piezocone with 4 No. pore pressure dissipation testing (Two on either side of the River). 5. Geotechnical Laboratory testing on selected samples. 6. Environmental Testing on Selected samples. 7. Provision of AGS data. 8. Specialist Subcontractor - Unexploded Bomb Probing - Mace Dragados require a Specialist Subcontractor to carry out magnetometer probing to survey for any unexploded ordnance to Euston HS2 Station site. Hodson Embankment Ground Investigation 2019 - Hodson Embankment Ground Investigation 2019 Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of a Ground Investigation (GI) at Hodson Embankment, Swindon. Project Description: The GI is to verify the existing ground conditions, to supplement the existing ground and groundwater information and to assist in informing the most suitable remedial solutions for the future stabilisation of the embankment. Hodson Embankment perpendicularly adjoins the eastbound carriageway of the M4 motorway, approximately 1.5km west of Junction 15. It supports a minor road (Broome Manor Lane) and bridge over the M4, which links the village of Hodson with Swindon. The approximate OS Grid Reference is 417456, 181364 Full details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents. Ground Investigation - DPS - Ground Investigation - DPS - Bristol city Council Housing Delivery manages approximately 28,000 properties ranging in construction styles from pre 1900 through to modern day including both traditional and non- traditional construction types as well as high rise buildings. A ground investigation service is required to include mining surveys, bomb surveys, geotechnical surveys, soil assessment, full engineering, tree root analysis and identification and surveys for contamination risks to potential development sites.
