The new Roofing Systems Framework (RS5) will be the successor to LHC's current and successful Roofing and Associated Works Framework Agreement (RS4) which is due to expire in May 2025. The aim in the development of this framework will be to provide an efficient, value for money procurement route for local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies for the design, supply and installation of roofing systems and associated works in all types of public sector refurbishment and new build projects; including: > Multi occupancy residential buildings (low/medium/high rise) > Schools > Colleges > Universities > Public offices > NHS buildings > Blue Light buildings > Other public buildings LHC intend to carry out further engagement webinars with interested parties and manufacturers in due course to discuss our initial proposals, timescales for the tender and gain feedback before finalising the framework and issuing the tender. Installation of Roof Edge Protection - The University is seeking a competent, experienced contractor to undertake the design and installation of edge protection systems to areas of Eliot College and Darwin College roofs, including the protection of glazed rooflights. The work also requires the installation of replacement access steps. The work shall be carried out between Monday 17 June 2024 and Friday 13th September 2024: the precise dates to be agreed. Darwin College and Eliot College are located in the centre of the University's Canterbury Campus and the buildings will remain active throughout the course of the works. The University reserves the right to retain the successful contractor on our records for a further 12 months in the event that we would require such works on other University buildings over this 12-month period.
