CHIC Healthy Homes Framework 2024-28 - The Authority is procuring a 4-year Framework that is designed to allow a compliant route to market for local and nationwide specialist retrofit and building safety contractors. The Framework created may be accessed by any of CHIC’s Members (Employers) and any Authorised Users, collectively referred to as the Members or Employers. This CHIC framework will be created to provide an efficient, value for money, compliant, procurement route for local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies for the consultancy and works (design, supply and installation) of retrofit and building safety works and other associated works along with the implementation of digital measuring, analytics and reporting tools in all types of public sector refurbishment and regeneration projects. Arts Tower Architecture Remodelling - The University of Sheffield is out to tender on behalf of the Department of Estates and Facilities Management for remodelling works within the Architecture Department of the Arts Tower. Geevor Cafe Refurbishment and Reconfiguration - Pendeen Community Heritage is seeking invitations to tender for a programme of improvement works to our onsite Count House Cafe. This is part of our funded project 'Geevor Cafe Reimagination, Improvement and new space creation'. Our funding was received as part of the Good Growth programme under 'RUR002 Strengthening Rural Community Infrastructure and Assets'. Our cafe kitchen was built to accommodate 20,000 people upon opening in 1997; we now welcome over 40,000 visitors a year. We plan to introduce a series of improvements on site to ease the pressure on our cafe kitchen and allow capacity for larger visitor numbers and external business opportunities.
