Kitchen and Bathroom Installation - Efficiency East Midlands are looking to appoint a number of Kitchen and Bathroom Installers. Many of our Members have already undertaken extensive refurbishment programmes to properties falling outside of the Governments Decent Homes minimum standard. However, maintaining standards is now seen as a priority for many organisations. This framework aims to help EEM Members (Contracting Authorities) maintain their housing stock to the Decent Homes standard as a minimum. This framework is being developed to assist Members who have specific kitchen and bathroom installation programmes. It also covers any associated rewiring and electrical works and other works required when upgrading/refurbishing kitchens and bathrooms. It is anticipated that this framework will be used for smaller refurbishment programmes ranging from 20 kitchens/bathrooms per annum up to 200 per annum however actual numbers may fall outside of this range. EEM members are predominantly within the East Midlands but not exclusively so and may have requirements in other parts of England and Wales. The consortia is owned by our members which include Housing Associations, ALMO's, Local Authorities and bodies from the wider public sector. The Framework is being tendered in regional Lots. Details on the Lot structure are attached to this notice and also provided within the Invitation to Tender documents.
