Marketing Manchester are delivering this project on behalf of the Manchester Accommodation Business Improvement District (ABID), a ground-breaking initiative, which launched on 1st April 2023.  Led by the city's hotel and serviced apartment providers, it aims to create new events, improve guest welcome and street cleanliness and amplify marketing campaigns that drive overnight visits in Manchester and Salford. The purpose of this project is to appoint a digital marketing platform to deliver a programmatic advertising campaign as part of the Q4 ABID Leisure Marketing Campaign, and build data and insights to steer future marketing campaign activity.   Key Objectives The key objectives of the project are to: 1. Raise awareness of Manchester as a leisure visitor destination to a target audience of Experience Seekers and Families 2. Drive incremental consideration and increase overnight stays from travellers within the UK and Ireland across the months of January - March 2024 3. Drive incremental consideration and increase overnight stays from two international markets: Germany and Spain, across the months of February - March 2024 4. Drive economic impact to the Greater Manchester economy 5. Build a dashboard of Manchester data and insights to steer future campaign activity A budget of £180,000 (GBP) exclusive of VAT has been set for the delivery of this service . This budget is from Year One of ABID activity, April 2023 - March 2024. Subject to funding, there may be additional years of funding available in the future, but we can't anticipate this value at the present time. Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Marketing Narrative - AWARD - In September 2019, the government invited 100 places to develop proposals for a Town Deal, as part of the £3.6 billion Towns Fund. The Towns Fund is part of the government's plan for levelling up the UK economy and its overarching aims are to drive the sustainable economic regeneration of towns and to deliver long term economic and productivity growth. Through the Towns Deal process, Bletchley and Fenny Stratford were awarded £22.7 million across nine projects that have been selected to drive transformational and sustainable growth in the area. These interventions individually and collectively seek to deliver the vision for Bletchley and Fenny Stratford, as identified in the Town Investment Plan (TIP). One of these projects is the Active Marketing of Vacant Sites (AMOVS) project. The AMOVS project focusses on both improving the marketing of Bletchley and Fenny Stratford as an investment location and improving the reputation of the area as a place to do business. To support in meeting these project aspirations, consultants have produced a Databook identifying the strengths, challenges, opportunities, and potential to unlock prosperity and growth in Bletchley and Fenny Stratford. This Bletchley specific information can now be used to create a successful marketing campaign. There is now a requirement to develop and create a narrative for Bletchley and Fenny Stratford as well as a Place marketing strategy, identifying how best to share, promote and implement the narrative. This brief is to deliver the narrative part of this project which will provide a strong and compelling story about why Bletchley and Fenny Stratford is an attractive area to locate and invest in.
