Hilsea Jubilee Splashpool - Catering Site Concession 2024 - AWARD - The Council is seeking to award an ice cream & drinks concession contract from 20th May - 22nd September 2024, for a mobile ice cream unit which can include hot and cold drinks but not for the sale of hot or cold food other than ice cream/frozen yoghurt or other frozen sweet products. This site is adjacent to the Hilsea Jubilee Splashpool which opens in mid-May and closes usually in early September. The operating hours of the Splashpool are 11am - 6pm 7 days per week. Please note the opening and closing dates vary according to the weather. The Splashpool can also be closed due to weather conditions or issues within the site which bidders will need to take into consideration. The nearby play area and Pump track remain open throughout the year. All of these facilities are free for the public to use. The income expectations for the mobile concession unit is in the region of ?350 per month. Level G and -1 café offering a good range of soft drinks, sandwiches, filled breads and snacks. Lot 3 - Level 1 restaurant Level 1 table table service restaurant operating a variety of menu styles to a medium price point and attracts perhaps a younger demographic and some of our more experimental Theatre audiences. It benefits from the setting of its outdoor tables in the summer. The Barbican Centre is looking to close the existing Level 2 table service restaurant and radically develop the restaurant on Level 1 with the Support of the successful caterer provider.
