QU049 - Provision of Leaflet & Letter Delivery, and Posting of Site Notices - Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of Leaflet/Letter Delivery for the period of 2016-18. Birmingham City Council regularly requires small deliveries of letters/ leaflets as well as post site notices to inform residents about proposed projects in their area. This contract will be for a period of 2 years commencing 15th November 2016 until 30th November 2018. The contract will be reviewed after 12 months, and renewed depending on previous performance including the ability of the provider to deliver this commission as described. TC162 Distribution of Bolton Scene - The Authority is tendering for the distribution of its tabloid newspaper, “Bolton Scene” under the Authority’s Framework Agreement. The standard edition is tabloid size (currently 37cm tall by 28 cm wide), 16 pages with a 123,000 print run. There is no guarantee of a minimum number of publications being produced; however the previous Framework Agreement period saw four editions per year. The number of pages can change on occasion due to a number of factors which includes but is not limited to number of adverts in any given edition and supplements of four, eight and occasionally more pages. Tenderers must quote a price for delivery of the standard 16 page edition, plus 12, 20, 24, and 28 pages. Tenderers must quote separate prices for solus delivery and delivery with other items. In the event that the Authority decides to take up the option to deliver with other items, the Authority will reserve the right to approve what is delivered alongside the Bolton Scene.

Strategic Sourcing Plan for Postal & Courier Services - The British Red Cross Society (Red Cross) is a humanitarian organisation that refuses to ignore people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. This Prior Information Notice is to obtain market views on Postal & Courier Services and gather information to enable the Red Cross to develop a Strategic Sourcing Plan to demonstrate their future approach to Postal & Courier Services. Interested parties are advised to note that this will be a nationwide exploration which covers the following geographic areas: UK, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man. Additionally, please note that we have provided a market research Pro Forma that we advise all interested parties to complete in full. This Pro Forma shall be used a mechanism for Red Cross to increase its knowledge of the potential supply market, develop its strategic procurement plan and assist the Red Cross in their future approach to postal services.
