RICS Valuation Services - The Development and Sales team have a requirement for a RICS Valuer panel. The panel will be comprised of 2 to 4 Valuers per Lot on a ranked basis. The contract will be split into two lots, which can be applied to in isolation or in unison. This accommodates for the valuation and reporting for new build schemes. Evaluation Expert for Historic England's Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings Project - Historic England (HE) is looking to appoint an experienced evaluation consultant(s) to carry out an evaluation of the restoration, regeneration and operation of Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings. The primary objective of this work is to deliver a report that will inform the project delivery and meet National Lottery Heritage Fund evaluation requirements and demonstrate the outcomes achieved, lessons learned and future recommendations. The overarching aim of this commission is to deliver an evaluation of the Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings project that will meet National Lottery Heritage Fund requirements. It is expected that the evaluation will draw on existing data and evidence provided by Historic England's Socio-Economic Analysis and Evaluation team and operational data provided by the Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings Ltd, with additional qualitative primary research to provide a balanced, objective mixed methods evaluation. This includes understanding the role of the Friends of the Flaxmill Maltings, including the factors that contributed to their disbandment and what can be learned. The evaluation will explore dynamics between national heritage funding bodies and local partners, and to provide evidence that will be used to enhance future working partnerships between these distinct groups.

Docking Station Evaluation - The University of Kent (UoK) is seeking to appoint an external evaluator to create an evaluation framework for the Docking Station project, Medway. This project is led by the University's Institute of Cultural and Creative Industries (iCCi) but has been developed in partnership with Medway Council and the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust and supported by Creative Estuary. The partners share Creative Estuary's vision to forge a new future founded on creative energy and innovation, along the length of the Thames Estuary. The ambition is to give cultural industries room to grow by providing the right physical spaces for creative communities. Docking Station will be a flagship development designed to inspire investment in Medway into creative and cultural industries, in particular digital arts and immersive technology, reinforcing Chatham's position as a key cultural production hub within the Thames Estuary Production Corridor. The project is a key part of Medway Council's cultural strategy being delivered through Creative Medway and will enable the transformation of this part of Chatham waterfront into a vibrant place providing social spaces, creative workspace, education and training and the opportunity to develop and experience state-of-the-art immersive technology. The project will involve the conversion of the Police Section House (PSH) - a Grade II listed Scheduled Ancient Monument - as well as the creation of a large new statement building to the rear of the property to house digital production studios. The new building will be located immediately behind the Police Section House connected via a simple covered walkway. The Design Team led by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios are now progressing with RIBA Stage 3 designs.

This should include an assessment of likely annual visitor figures at the site. o Work with Council staff and other key stakeholders (including community groups) to gain an understanding of the wider view of The Leasowes and its likely future role as a day visit attraction. o Provide lessons learnt from other projects, using the experience of your consultancy in advising on similar projects elsewhere. o Provide options for delivery and operation of the facility to include an assessment of likely income to the Council from a lease to a third party as well as an assessment of other methods of operation with an assessment of the risks and benefits of each. o Provide options for external funding for the project.
