Collections Management Systems specification consultancy - The Museum of London is undertaking a requirements analysis for management of collections information. The museum currently has more than four different systems for managing collections information and the consultancy will analyse where these interface, as well as where replications of function and data exist. Some of these may be necessary but others may need to be altered or merged into one system. The review will also consider areas of the business that are currently not using collections information but should. The review should analyse not just how the museum carries out its business today but consider the long term future and what trends are emerging in information management.

Assitive IT Vouchers - The College plans to award vouchers to the value of 50GBP for L1 and L2 students, and a voucher to the value of 150GBP for L3 students in academic year 2015/16. Vouchers will be issued from early September 2015 onwards. The College is anticipating that approximately 280 students will receive a voucher to the value of 50GBP, and approximately 500 students will receive a voucher to the value of 150GBP. The anticipated contract value is therefore 89,000GBP. It is expected that all tenderers will provide prices for the items stipulated, or where an exact match is not available, a substitute that is as close as practicably possible. The data provided should not be considered a commitment to purchase; payment for vouchers will be made on redemption. Students must be able to redeem their vouchers either in one transaction or in multiple transactions up until the end of the Spring Term, 30 June 2016. The premises on which the students can redeem their vouchers must be within the local area of Plymouth, Devon, UK. Tenderers must have the ability to void individual vouchers if necessary. Provision of a Gas Servicing Contract ICT Solution - Provision of a Gas Servicing Contract ICT Solution Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC) is responsible for the risk and maintenance of gas appliances under Landlords responsibility which encompasses approximately 26,000 serviceable properties and over 60,000 gas fitments. For a number of years this responsibility has been carried out by a third party using council staff to deliver the service. With effect from 1st August 2015, this service will transfer back to the council. This will involve the reintegration of up to 70 Gas Servicing engineers with the existing Gas Repairs team. The purpose of this commission will be to review the key business requirements of the returning business function, to translate these into technology requirements and to determine how they might be met by the IT systems already in place or soon to be introduced within the gas repairs function. The outcome of the review should identify any adjustments that might need to be made to the existing ICT solution; highlight any outstanding business decisions that will need to be made to facilitate effective use of the system; identify approximate costs and timeline for delivery of the proposed solution including any interim arrangements that may need to be made or alternative options for delivering the required outcomes which can be presented back to senior managers within this business function. Organisations are invited to present their proposal in relation to how they would undertake this work and the cost of delivery.
