CREATIVE PRODUCER SERVICES FOR THE COMMISSIONING OF ARTISTS - Wakefield Council is looking to commission a Creative Programme Producer to support the delivery of Crossings & Gateways, a programme of public art commissioning which will be a key strand of Our Year - Wakefield District 2024. It is our ambition to deliver public art projects in towns and our city centre and communities across the district, with a focus primarily on 2D commissions (e.g. murals and other flat decorative interventions) rather than 3D commissions (e.g. sculptures). The programme will enable communities to improve their lives and local area by growing a sense of pride of place and celebration. We also aim, wherever possible, to commission artists from the Wakefield District and the wider West Yorkshire region to deliver the completed commissions. As referred to in the specification, the requirement in Ossett (Butcher's Wall) is subject to approval. However should agreement not be reached, an alternative location will be selected by the Council, and the requirement from the Producer (the delivery of a mural at an identified location) will be the same. The Procurement opportunity is accessible via: https://uk.eu-supply.com/login.asp?B=UK New suppliers will have to register to the procurement portal (this is free of charge). Once you have registered and created your log in, you can access all live opportunities that are available within YORtender via the search function.

Strategic Change Portfolio Partner - Request for Information (RFI) - In 2019, the University of Manchester established a Strategic Change Office (SCO) to bring together its strategic change initiatives and to strengthen its approach to change delivery. Since then, the SCO has achieved considerable success in standardising and professionalising programme delivery across the University. The SCO leadership team is now taking steps to further mature the University's approach to change, building on the foundations established since 2019. The UoM is seeking a collaborative partner to guide it through an exercise to address those challenges and shape the future of the strategic change portfolio for the next five years. Over time the change portfolio has developed and today contains initiatives that are sensible and good things to do, but there is an acknowledgement that to keep the UoM world-class, the future portfolio should be reviewed to identify gaps to our strategic ambitions. It has been identified that it would be beneficial to carry out this soft market testing to ascertain supplier interest and also to provide the University with a better understanding of potential solutions. The University may also undertake further discussions with suppliers who have expressed an interest to develop its understanding of the supply market.

The Provider will be required to create a comprehensive business support initiative aiming to improve essential tools, resources and guidance to help women-led and Black Asian and Minority Ethnic businesses thrive in today's competitive landscape and access the innovation ecosystem by enabling access to an existing health/care consortium who already hold contracts with the NHS/BCC. It is expected that the business support will cover the following specific objectives: - Supporting new businesses in joining an existing health/care consortium. - Tailored support delivered to a group of social entrepreneurs (including peer-to-peer mentoring, training and addressing barriers specific to the sector) resulting in 5 businesses joining the consortium and accessing real market opportunities. The provider of this contract needs to meet the following Specific Requirements: - represent a consortium of social enterprises who currently deliver contracts for the NHS, adult social care or similar contracts for the public sector; - be willing to expand their operations and accept new members and provide a bespoke support that would allow the new members to access new contracts. - design and deliver a bespoke business support focusing on the readiness to enter an existing consortium and participate in the delivery of an existing NHS; - be able to analyse the process and draw learning from it that could then be shared with the wider sector; - be open to collaborating within the WM Inclusive Innovation Network and share the learning from the process. This is being funded by the Innovate UK DIATOMIC Project and all publicity materials and reporting will be required to reference the funder and use the appropriate WMCA, UKRI and Innovate UK's logos.
