Request for Quotation for the provision of consultancy for Museum Audience Development - North Lincolnshire Museums Service on behalf of Hull City Council, ERYC Museums and are seeking to appoint a under 5s consultant. The appointed consultant will be managed by North Lincolnshire Museum Service. The consultant will be required to provide a detailed picture of the current situation for under 5s across the HMP Museums. This information will be used to ensure each site is being used to its full potential and will shape future provision at each venue. There are 12 venues included in the project including two at North Lincolnshire, five in Hull and five across the East Riding. The consultant will observe, engage and consult with existing under 5s audiences and current non users. They will review the current activities, provisions and facilities for under 5s at each Museum Service in the project to see what works and what lessons can be learnt in the future. They will also look beyond the Humber region to best practice for under 5s in other Museum Services. They will also look to the legacy of the project to ensure that the value of cultural learning is embedded in Early Years training. All the findings will be collated in a report along with detailed recommendations. The consultant will have the opportunity to pilot one of the recommendations in each region. The Provision of Secondary Data Analysis - The Department for Transport (DfT) wishes to establish a contract for the provision of secondary data analysis. This contract will augment the Social and Behavioural Research (SBR) team’s internal resources in order to tackle specific analytical projects and provide resilience. Skills required include quantitative and qualitative analysis for social research/social sciences, as well as knowledge of the transport policy environment. These projects will support the Department in answering key policy questions and extracting maximum value from its own, or publicly available, datasets.

Evaluation services for Royal Armouries formal education programme - Expressions of interest are sought by the Royal Armouries for consultancy services to develop and deliver an evaluation of the organisation’s formal education programme (early years to adult learning) and in particular of the response to the revised National Curriculum at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds and at Fort Nelson in Hampshire. The research exercise will evaluate: - the new education programme, its composition, approach and content at both sites; - its appeal and usefulness to its target audiences; - the RA’s education service operation in respect of the new offer (bookings, facilities, logistics of the visit); - the marketing and promotion of the education offer at each site. In addition, consultants will be invited to make recommendations in respect of the potential of the study of arms and armour within the NC14 (National Curriculum 2014) and in expanding the service’s reach in Yorkshire and Hampshire.
