The Provision of Training Services - HYMC Offshore Training Programme, Hull Maritime Project, Kingston upon Hull - Hull City Council (The Authority) is seeking a provider to deliver the Hull Maritime Project (HYMC) Offshore Training required for the period 2024 - 2025. Celtic Sea Floating Offshore Wind - Industry Delivery Plans (O&M) - The main objective of this commissioned work is to enable private sector collaborative activity which has the potential to develop into technically credible and investible propositions capable of addressing key industrial scale O&M challenges in the Celtic Sea. Offshore Ground Investigation - Yorkshire Cruise Terminal, Hull - The Authority is seeking to procure a consultant to carry out a preliminary offshore ground investigation. The purpose of the investigation is to determine the nature and extent of ground and groundwater contamination within the site boundaries. The investigation shall comprise: i. 12nr Vibrocores to between 3 and 5 metres below bed level · ii. Geotechnical laboratory testing · iii. Geo-environmental laboratory testing. The consultant will: iv. Determine material properties of superficial sediments by method of collecting samples from vibrocores v. Assess chemical contamination of sediments by collection and testing of samples Full details of the precise requirements are detailed within the relevant sections of the Invitation To Tender pack. The investigation is linked to the following site development project objectives for the Yorkshire Cruise Terminal, Hull: 1) Installation of a cruise ship berth and terminal at Sammy's Point, Hull 2) The berth will be floating and constructed from up to three concrete pontoons connected by interleaf hinges that allow freedom of movement along both the longitudinal and transverse axis but constrain vertical movement between adjacent pontoons 3) Projected lifespan of the pontoon and restraint/ mooring piles is 50 years The Consultant is required to make an immediate start on this project following appointment, which is anticipated to be during June 2022. The specified works are anticipated to take a duration of around three (3) months to complete. Development Support for Freeport East - Successful Freeport consortiums are now required to develop detailed business plans by December 2021, including agreed governance arrangements, investment plans, development phasing, demonstrable inward investment pipeline, and more. A core part of the Freeport East offer is the development of Harwich International Port and Bathside Bay which has been included on the basis for supporting offshore wind manufacturing and operations. The success of this will be the focus for this contract. We are seeking a supplier to provide hands-on support in developing the proposals, business plans, and supporting evidence in relation to HPUK's plans for offshore wind manufacturing and operations. A supplier will need to demonstrate expertise in the global and UK offshore wind sectors alongside specialist knowledge and relationships with the UK's emerging hydrogen sector There will need to be integrated thinking on how plans on offshore wind and hydrogen can complement and strengthen one another. The successful company will need to demonstrate collaborative working, ability to deal with commercial information sensitively and confidentially and demonstrate a partnership based approach to problem solving.
