TRN 1047/07/2015 - Consumer Energy Delivery Partner for the Big Energy Saving Week Campaign - Following a commitment at the PM led Consumer Energy Summit , DECC has worked with leading third sector and consumer organisations to deliver an annual energy cost saving awareness raising campaign, Big Energy Saving Week (BESW). The fourth and most recent campaign was DECC funded in October 2014. The Week provides help and advice ahead of winter at face to face events organised by the Citizens Advice Network. DECC are funding a further BESW campaign which is due to be launched on Monday 26th October 2015. DECC are seeking a consumer energy delivery partner to work alongside both DECC and Citizens Advice to provide a complementary media and promotional campaign to support and publicise key messages to help vulnerable consumers reduce their energy costs and prepare for winter, and promote the face to face advice sessions being run by Citizens Advice throughout the week. This campaign will also need to complement and integrate with any wider Departmental consumer facing campaigns this autumn. Description The proposal should set out how the successful organisation can meet the key requirements for a campaign delivery partner that can demonstrate consumer and media trust in it and its messages, its expertise in consumer energy issues and how it can use these assets to run an impactful consumer energy partnership campaign, able to reach vulnerable consumers at scale. With a fixed campaign date (w/c 26th October) the proposal should also set out how you will utilise your existing links and expertise to deliver on time. Note: there may be a requirement to deliver additional work to maintain consumer awareness of the key messages in support of DECC campaigns throughout the winter.

Sponsorship and Marketing for an Air Show in Torbay - The Authority is seeking an experienced sales and marketing company with a proven track record and understanding of air show type events. The sales and marketing company will be required to raise £150,000 to deliver a minimum two (2) day Air Show Event in Torbay over a weekend in June 2016. The Authority has secured a start up fund of £60,000 from the Coastal Communities Fund. This funding must bring in at least five million pounds (£5,000,000) in new business and spending to the economy of Torbay through the event. The event must be sustainable year after year. The event is expected to be supported by at least 150,000 visitors across the two days of the event and, if similar to Weston-Super-Mare, Bournemouth, Dawlish and Eastbourne Air Shows, attendance could be much higher. The Air Show is expected to be the largest event delivered in Torbay in terms of visitor numbers in recent years. A Tender will be issued shortly for the provision of an air show consultant to provide aircraft over the weekend with a timetable.

TD0868 - Residential and Commercial Property Auctioneer - Derby City Council are inviting tenders for the supply of services in respect of a Residential and Commercial Property Auctioneer to dispose of land and property in the City of Derby. The appointed agent will be required to provide property auction services for the disposal of land and property being mostly residential dwellings and smaller vacant sites usually in residential areas. In addition there will be the opportunity to dispose of commercial/non domestic land and property. The agent should offer property auction services but also the option to occasionally dispose of land and property by private treaty or tender. The appointed agent will be required to professionally market and dispose of land and property in such a way as to maximise both its exposure to the market and buyer interest. Advertising in relevant local sales offices including at least one prominent office in the City of Derby and provision of a good quality auction venue in the City of Derby. The initial contract period is two (2) years; the contract is estimated to commence 12 March 2015 and expire 11 March 2017. There will be an option to extend the contract for 3 years in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. Maximum contract period is five (5) years.
