This role requires an outstanding individual with proven experience of performing scrutineer activity, managing complex issues and facilitating meetings at a senior level, particularly in partnership settings, and who has a significant operational and strategic understanding of the safeguarding agenda. The successful candidate will need to evidence they have: o A track record of providing strong leadership and delivering on strategic vision; o Significant experience in providing independent scrutiny and advice within a partnership setting; o Excellent negotiation and influencing skills; o Experience in building and maintaining productive partnerships; o The ability to analyse complex information and provide robust scrutiny and challenge; o Detailed understanding of relevant law, statutory guidance and regulations; o Knowledge and understanding of effective partnership working in safeguarding children and adults. Note: This is a tender opportunity. The successful person will contract directly with the Council and will provide the services detailed in the duties and specification documents and will contract under the Councils terms and conditions. The fees paid for this role will be on a day rate basis. The contract term is for one year with 2 x one year extension options and the annual value is estimated at up to ?28,800 based on attendance of 48 days per annum. Anti-racism and Intentional Inclusion Programme 2 - Inclusive Recruitment - NHSBT are looking to work with a supplier with equal expertise in both diversity and inclusion and in talent acquisition and recruitment, to undertake a diagnostic review of our end-to-end recruitment process which looks not only at policy, processes, and tools, but also the application of those and the importance of culture, attitudes and leadership in making change. We need to understand where improvements can be made with a balance of strategic and tactical recommendations. The winning bidder will provide us with a comprehensive report that outlines areas of good practice observed, identifies prioritised areas for improvement and provides a set of actionable recommendations. Additionally we are seeking external insight and best practice, including how the rapid development of AI in the recruitment space might impact on diversity for both employers and candidates, both now and in the future.
