Production of Heritage Lottery Fund Applications - LB Barking and Dagenham is seeking applications to deliver related funding bids to the Heritage Lottery Fund: •Barking Abbey Green HLF stage one application (Heritage Grants) •Barking Town Centre HLF stage two application (Townscape Heritage) Interested applicants are advised to read the attached project brief, specifically Section 7 which details the submission requirements in full. Gedling Borough Housing Zone - Progress delivery of the Gedling Housing Zone over the period to 31 March 2018. This to include project management and co-ordination of partners involved in the delivery of the Gedling Access Road, Gedling Colliery and Teal Close developments. Responsibilities, amongst other things, to include arranging and Chairing meetings of the Project Steering Group, ensuring monitoring and delivery of the Project Execution Plan, reporting progress into the Project Executive, providing briefings to key stakeholders, ensuring funding bids (for example to the LEP) are made to agreed timescales. Given the high profile local interest in the above, it will be important to ensure that Gedling’s Principal Planners are kept regularly updated, either through their attendance at Steering Group meetings or in some other agreed ways. Beyond keeping Gedling colleagues involved, it would also be useful to consider opportunities for a more active role in the two planning applications, , including the preparation of draft report to members and advising on S106/CIL and relevant conditions.
