Kitchen & Bathroom Replacement Programme - Phase 14 - Kitchen & Bathroom Replacement Programme - Phase 14 Hillingdon Council is seeking a suitably experienced contractor to deliver (as the sole main-contractor) a programme of kitchen replacements and/or bathroom replacements over an agreed programme period for circa 31 occupied domestic dwellings in Hillingdon. (24 Kitchens & 18 Bathrooms). The proposed contract will be based upon a pre-determined basket of rates developed using the National Housing Maintenance Forum M3NHF Schedule of Rates version 7.1 including its long descriptions, the specifications of workmanship and materials and the relevant SOR (schedules of rates) rates for each element of the required works. The rates are to include for all preliminaries, overheads, and profits. As part of their tender submission, contractors are required to tender a single percentage increase or deduction adjustment to these basket rates as stipulated in the Pricing Schedule and enter this adjustment into the Basket Rate Adjustment Tab. Flat Roof Refurbishment - The closing date for the return of completed tenders has been extend until the 1st July 2022. Hythe and Dibden Parish Council are seeking two tenders for the refurbishment of a flat roof at the Parish Hall, West street, Hythe, Southampton SO45 6AA. Two types of roofing solution have been selected as being suitable and only manufacturers approved installers of the following types of roofing system will be considered. 1. IKO Felt Roof System 2. MOY Liquid Roof System The successful tenderer will be required to install only one of the above systems. Therefore, tendering contractors do not need to provide a Tender price submission for Option A and Option B, unless they are approved installers for both roof systems. For the IKO Felt Roof System, the contractor must: - be IKO approved/registered for the specified IKO system. - employ persons familiar with the application and installation requirements of the specified waterproofing system and its components. - employ IKO approved installers whom have undertaken and passed the IKO specified system induction programme. - carry a current and valid IKO approved installer card for the IKO Specified waterproofing system that should be less than 3 years old. The names of the IKO approved installers will be provided to IKO at tender return stage to ensure they are current and valid prior to any works being undertaken. For the MOY Liquid Roof System, the contractor must: - an approved and suitably trained MOY Contractor. - ensure that all operatives employed by them are suitably skilled to carry out the works described in MOY specification. Asbestos Encapsulation Works - The encapsulation works are to take place at the Goldfish Bowl Fine Art Studio at the Falmouth Campus, Woodlane, Falmouth. Involves works to the currently asbestos clad columns and beams and the making safe of all loose areas of asbestos. This is to be followed by the encapsulation of the existing asbestos fire protection to the columns and beams in the Studio. The works include the removal and subsequent refixing of all attached services and the decoration of Ceilings, Walls and wood and metalwork to the interior of the Art Studio. All works are internal. Vacation of the interior of the premises will be arranged and internal access to the individual rooms will be available. Care should be taken in executing the works in that the driveway outside provides an access for students and other pedestrians not associated with the University. Materials must not be stored externally which might hinder safe access up the driveway. Any scaffolding is to be suitably labelled and protected. The works need to be carried out during the summer recess and must be completed by the start of termon 10 September 2022.
