Managed Print, Mailroom and Offsite Bulk and Marketing Print Services - The University of Sunderland and its subsidiaries are looking to procure Managed Print, Mailroom and Offsite Bulk and Marketing Print Services, from August 2023 to July 2028 (with an option to extend for a further 1 year). A 5-month mobilisation plan is expected to commence March 2023. The overall current service has handled work historically to an approximate value of £500,000 per annum. For the purpose of this tender award and any subsequent services which may be connected with the original award, we reserve the right to spend a further 50% of the anticipated spend subject to changes in University requirements or changes to legislation (there is no guarantee of spend). Field Force Logistics and Replenishment (FFLR) Services - AWARD - This is linked to the Prior Information Notice (PIN) for Field Force Logistics, Supplies and Replenishment (FFSLR) Service with the reference 2017/S 055-101690 which was published in the OJEU on 18th March 2017. Please note that the sourcing of the non technical supplies has been removed from the scope of work leading to renaming the Agreement Field Force Logistics and Replenishment (FFLR) Service. To support the 2019 Rehearsal and 2021 Census in England and Wales (E&W) and Northern Ireland (NI), the Field Force Logistics and Replenishment (FFLR) Service (the Services) comprises an outsourced, integrated Service. The Service will equip the Field Force with the Materials they require to undertake their role, and to help deliver the operations as required by the Customer, in order to deliver the Programme and Services as described in thise Specification Document. The objectives of the Service are to: o provide a flexible, secure and assured FFLR Service to ensure the Field Force staff have all provisions they require to undertake their role throughout the operational period for the 2019 Rehearsal and 2021 Census; o deliver the FFLR Service using a collaborative approach with a Supplier who is able to demonstrate confidence, assurance and certainty in the outcomes; and o identify opportunities for wider benefit to be delivered within ONS as a result of the FFLR Service. The scope of the Service comprises six main elements, the Supplier shall: o Receive, store and inventory manage all Material; o Pick and pack all Material in accordance with the Customer Specification; o Deliver all Material to the Field Force by the required dates; o Fulfil all replenishment requests for additional/replacement Material throughout the Operational Period. (England & Wales only); o Collect Material as requested throughout the Operational Period,; and o Sort, recycle and/or arrange for the return or secure destruction of collected Material. There are three groups of Material that will be used by the Field Force: o Non-Technical Material (e.g. stapler, lanyards, clipboards);. o Technical Material (e.g. laptop, printer, mobile phone). o Paper Material (e.g. questionnaires, publicity material, cards). The Supplier will be responsible for the provision of the Services to support the Field Force staff of approximately 500 field staff in the 2019 Rehearsal and approximately 42,000 in the 2021 Census throughout England Wales and Northern Ireland.

The Provision of Mail Screening Services - The requirement for Mail Screening Services is: • Provide secure premises and process for the security X-ray, chemical, biological, canine and radiological pre-screening of mail packets and letters addressed to specified sites within the MPS (currently 13 sites within the Greater London area) • The location of the screening service shall be remote from the MPS estate. • Provide MPS/Counter Terrorism Check (NPPV Level 2/CTC) level security cleared staff (screening and logistics staff). • Deliver screening Level 3 as specified in 'PAS 97:2015 Mail Screening and Security. Specification'. • All screened mail must be kept secure until it is delivered to the MPS specified sites. • Deliver and track screened mail to specified MPS sites to meet specified delivery timescales for standard and signature mail items.

Hybrid Mail Onsite Solution - Derby City Council ran a further competition exercise under the Crown Commercial Services Framework Provision of Postal Goods and/or Services RM1063, Lot 2: Hybrid Mail On-Site Solution. Although the contract is established for use by Derby City Council, Council Arm's Length Management Organisations (ALMO) such as Derby Homes Ltd, associated Trusts and Derby City Partnerships are eligible to make use of the contract should they elect to do so. The initial contract period is 24 months (2 years), 01/11/2017 to 31/10/2019, with an option to extend the contract for 24 months (2 years) in annual increments of 12 months (1 year) subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. The maximum contract period is therefore 48 months (4 years).
