International Nuclear Services (INS) engineering team is responsible for the design and substantiation of new transport packages and the re-substantiation of existing transport packages for other uses. In conjunction with supporting calculations and computer models we require physical test regimes to support the design and substantiation process. The tests are explicitly set out in IAEA SSR-6. INS is looking to secure testing services for Thermal, Impact, Leak & Seal and Metrology. The service provision will be to provide facilities and quality assurance processes to complete and report on IAEA compliant tests for SSR-6 transport packages. We want to canvass the opinion and understanding of the market to ensure that we offer an opportunity that is of interest and one that you feel you could bid for in the future. Lot 2 - Replacement space heating system (likely to include ASHP, electric immersion top up for hot water or HHRSH & electric immersion for hot water, possibly new wood burning stoves & removal of existing solid fuel burning stoves and back boilers)for around 70 homes and smart heating controls to EnerPHit standard for 132 homes. Lot 3 - Replacement mansard roof and windows for 20 top floor flats in Herefordshire (Three storey Cornish units) to EnerPHit standard. Phase 2 The project may also be extended to additional locations in Shropshire and for an extended period subject to further funding becoming available. This work is not guaranteed.
