Workers Educational Association - WEB PRESENCE - Workers Educational Association is inviting tenders for the provision of WEB Presence. Background: The WEA is a national provider of adult education and our mission is to bring great teaching and learning to local communities. This means we take our courses almost anywhere, from clubs, community centres and village halls to schools pubs or where people work. The localised nature of our work has meant the organisation has developed a federalised model, with a national nine English regions and Scotland, along with around 400 volunteer run branches across the country. This structure has resulted in a web presence which is fragmented, partially regionalised, frequently unmanaged and which has orphaned website and social media account. With a new brand now in place, the Association has identified a need to consolidate our existing web presence, improve the services available to students and stakeholders through the websites and to establish a licencing process for local websites that sit outside our core web presence. Key to our new approach will be to create a more immersive and interactive experience for students, tutors, members and volunteers while providing clear pathways for visitors seeking information from the site. Tender Timescales: Suppliers that would like to take part in this tender process are invited to express interest upon which they will be given access to the full tender documentation through INTEND e-tendering system. Expressions of interest will only be accepted until 3rd July 2015, and the deadline for submission of the tender will be 10th July 2015. Please allow sufficient time to make your return.
